Thank You Notes 2 by Fallon, Jimmy (2012) Paperback Paperback

My son loves Jimmy Fallon so this seemed like a cool gift. It’s a nicely made book and loaded with funny thank you notes from the show.

This book is pure fun. At 55 and still working an early 8-hour shift, it's hard to prop my eyes open long enough to watch the show. But when I do, I love the Thank you note segments. There's something very calming about listening to Fallon as he gently thanks all the rude, ridiculous, perverse, disturbing, annoying, and absurd things we encounter in our daily lives. This book (and his first one) are the next best things! You will laugh yourself silly, guaranteed.But, I wonder if I win a prize of some sort here. I found one joke (only one) that is an exact duplicate of one that appeared in the first book, word for word and with the same graphic too. On page 17 in Thank You Notes 2, this thank you note appears: "Thank you...Christmas decorations, for going up right after Halloween. Nothing says "holidays" like seeing my neighbor replace his plastic Dracula with a plastic baby Jesus."That same thank you note appears in book one on page 42! So, Thank you, ...Jimmy Fallon and your writing crew, for helping me prove my memory retention is still in tact and I am not going senile! I'll be awaiting my $10,000+ prize you must have waiting for me for finding this obviously planted joke. No? Oh well.....Seriously...my son was impressed I recalled that and found it in the first book! Yay....no old folks home for me, yet! Thanks again Jimmy and crew for making me laugh myself senseless. If you enjoy the humor of Jimmy Fallon, you will not be disappointed.

This is a great book, it's definitely as funny as Thank You Notes 1, but this time around I think a lot of the jokes are new as I'm not recognizing as many of them. I haven't read through it completely, but I've already laughed out loud multiple times. The book also comes with a cool sound chip so you can play the music while you read the jokes, but the activation is a little hit and miss. However, Jimmy does usually joke with the pianist at the beginning of the skit, so I won't let it lower my score. Similar to the original Thank You Notes, the book isn't too long, but it is hilarious and for the discounted Amazon price, it was a definite buy. I think the book is perfect for either a Coffee Table book, or as some amazing dump taking reading material.In the end, I love Jimmy Fallon and this is a great way to support him, I'm only sad that I pre-ordered it instead of waiting to bomb the Amazon best sellers list. :)

Thank You Notes 2 was the perfect sequel to Thank You Notes. There is nothing I love doing more than distracting myself from my college work with Jimmy Fallon. His show has been my saving grace since high school and his books are the perfect past time when I really don't feel like studying. If you don't have the first book, buy that also. Oh, and also check out SNL The Best of Jimmy Fallon, Fever Pitch, or Taxi. This dude isn't just funny in these books, his movies are also just as amazing as he is. I've loved Jimmy since I was in first grade when he first started out on SNL, if you're on the borderline of deciding whether or not to buy his book, just buy it. If it's a gift? The person is going to love it. If it's a goody for yourself? Make sure you've got some milk with you, because you're going to laugh so hard you're going to run dry.

Very entertaining ... like the ones on the Tonight Show.

I bought this as soon as Jimmy announced it on his show. Thank You notes is one the my favorite parts of the show I would always record Friday nights to watch the Thank you notes! I was so excited for it having a sound chip. It is really annoying though, I press it and sometimes it takes a few times to get it to turn on. When it is on though I find myself hearing Jimmy read the notes in my head so thats awesome! But the Thank You notes themselves are hilarious, i recognize some from the show but love that i have them now. I definitely found myself cracking up and sharing most of them with my fam. rock on Jimmy keep them coming!

Does it get any better than Jimmy Fallong and his Thank You Notes? Apparently it does when he comes out with a second book AND includes the musical background for it. You can't help but read it just as he did on the show. I bought both the first and second book for my wife for Christmas and she had no idea. She absolutely loves it! It seems that anytime she's up late enough to watch Jimmy Fallon, she gets to see his Thank You notes and loves them every time. I think I may even enjoy the books more than she does. Highly recommend buying this one, along with the first one.

My mom & I always watched Jimmy. We always looked forward to the Thank you notes on Friday. As soon as Jimmy started talking about this we wanted to get it. Unfortunately, my mom passed before it came out. I still got it anyway. I still watch Jimmy and still look forward to Thank you notes on Friday. I really get a giggle out of this book and think that because they added the little bit of music as well really made the book. LOVE IT and I know mom would too!

Disappointed. Sound chip has moved inside the cover and doesn’t work. I know it’s an old title, but you expect something new to work!

What can I say, it's jimmy fallon and he's the best. Love the book and the addition to the music attachment u can play while reading it. The first thank u notes is really good, and so is the second one. I've gotten them for gifts to people and they've loved it. U can't go wrong with this. It's jimmy fallon!!!!

Still loving the late night Thank You Notes and I didn't even know there would be a sound chip of the TYN theme music (I know, it definitely was written the bright yellow circle but oh well) which came out as a great surprise. Unfortunately, the sound worked once, twice, and then died.

I'm a Late Night with Jimmy Fallon and the Thank You notes segment is one of my favorites, enjoyed the collection of thank yous on the previous book and this one didn't disapoint. Theres a button on the front cover that plays the "Thank You Note" music from the show.
