GILI Adventure Inflatable Stand Up Paddle Board Package: Lightweight, Durable Touring SUP for Adults: Non-Slip Deck Diamond Rear Kickpad 11' or 12' x 32" x 6"

I wanted an 11’ Board that had a bit more stability than 10’ + boards, and I also wanted the extra room in case I want to try paddle board fishing (haven't yet!). After testing this SUP out for a couple hours, I’ve found it to be very stable and it also tracks well. I really love the front and rear bungees to strap down my bag!This board was a little more expensive than other options, but I feel like it’s worth it. There is too much china junk on amazon these days. The backpack is very well made, and the carbon fiber paddle is awesome. The description says this board is made from the best material out there, and I from what I have seen with others i bought, it's true. It feels super tough. I think the 11’ size is perfect for me. It’s not too big for solo outings, but I can also fit my son on it with without any problems. I really can’t wait to use this board to fish from.If there is one negative thing about it - I wish there were more colors to pick from. Maybe an orange or green, but the yellow is at least visible on the lake. Also the box was crushed when it came, but I think that is amazon ultimately.Overall, I’m pretty happy with it and thought it was worthwhile to write a lengthy review considering the cost.

My daschund and I have taken the board out on the Intracoastal and the channels this week.It handles very nice even though the wind whooped up a bit the second day.Pros:- Pumped up easily in 5 minutes or less- Love all the D rings and holding ties- The pad is very comfortable- Beautiful board!- Tracked very well, similar to my hard touring board- It handled small waves very wellCons- The 3 piece paddle is firm and has very little wobble (none in the bottom, and only a slight bit on the top part) and is barely noticeable. The paddle, however, is quite a bit heavier than my carbon paddle so I'll probably use it as much as possible. The GILI one works fine though as an extra.- The bounce of the board took a little getting used to, but with a little practice it is not a problem.This board is great for lakes, the Intracoastal, channels, etc.

Overall, I’m fairly happy with my purchase. It’s a nice paddle board and I love the design on it. The bag is super convenient with a lot of pockets and straps.The only part I didn’t/don’t like is that the quality control before shipping was definitely lacking. The paddle board arrived with a lot, like a lot of scuffs on the foam deck. There were scuffs like something had stabbed into it or a dog had walked on it. The bag also came with a rip in the inner front pocket so the foam behind it is already exposed when I use the pocket.The quality control isn’t a deal breaker and doesn’t detract from the product itself so I don’t feel as if it’s a big enough deal to request a replacement and go through the entire process, but if I’m ordering a $700.00 product, it would be nice if it came without scuffs or tears.

I have been seeing SUP's around and have tried them, always thinking they were too much work until I saw there were inflatable boards which made so much more sense.A neighbor bought this brand (though a different model) and that person was very pleased with it after months of use. I decided to purchase there same brand, but this adventure board.1. What's in the box?: You receive the board inside a backpack, the manual pump, removable fins, and instructions and a SUP paddle (adjustable).2. Set-up?: Honestly, super easy. You essentially take this board out of there backpack (the pack is great with lots of pockets for everything you need) and unroll it. Initially, this takes effort to pump up and it seems you aren't doing anything, but within a few minutes, it is close to ben coming ready. The pump has the expected PSI clearly color-coded, so you know exactly what the level is you need.3. Use?: Love it. Like anytime you use the SUP, this will take some effort, but this is stable and well-made. This model had d-rings for attaching anything you require, and the neat part is the bungee attachments (which can be removed) on the front and back. Terrific.The board itself lends itself to SUP, or you c an use it like a kayak because it has attachments for a kayak seat. In fact, one reason I wanted this model is because I wanted something portable I could use for fishing. With legs c crossed this thing is thick enough and has enough width it is quite stable as well.I LOVE the portability. This will easily fit in a trunk and can be taken to any destination.Overall?: Right now, I am super happy with this item. It is fully prepared, even comes with extra parts and a repair kit so it is inclusive as well. Though the pump works, I may invest in a portable electric pump, but otherwise this thing is great and whether you use it exclusively for a SUP, or choose ot use it for adventures like fishing, or paddling around like a kayak, this works. Awesome. And after being a bit bummed yellow was the only color, the bright yellow outlining has grown on me too to the point I can't imagine buying another color.

I have SUP'd a few times and I can say that this is an amazing board. It fills quickly. Once full, it is quite stable. Also, once up to speed the board is fast and holds speed well.I took it out once with two small kids with me. We all did great with 3 of us on the board.I love the fact that proceeds support cleaning up the world's oceans, as this is really important to me. Also, I love the graphics.The accessories are also great, the pump, paddle, patch kit, fins, and leash are all of high quality. They even given you replacement parts for the fins.The instructions and set are all very clear as well.The backpack is also awesome. I do wish there were more pockets, but the quality is top notch.The first time I rode the board, I just kept saying "I am so happy with this board."Buy it, you will not regret it.
