Bypass Snips Stainless Steel, 7-Inch

I love these cutters not only because they look nice, but they are sharp which allows me to make precise, small cuts.

Working at a private estate as the head of horticulture good snips are a must. I like the heft to these, most pairs feel to light for my taste. These have stayed relatively sharp, but I think they shipped less than satisfactorily sharp to begin with. I like the latch these have as well, many snips have a plastic, rubber, or fake leather strap that breaks quickly and the snips then have no safety, I am glad these have a better safety. These also have no shock absorbers, which I think can really separate a pair of snips or pruners out if they deaden the vibration of an aggressive snip. If you don't mind sharpening these and dealing with a little bit of vibration, these are sturdy snips that I have been using everyday this spring so far.

I got this tool for my sister-in-law. She loves it. Not only is it coo looking but it is a top notch performer.

fit and finish could be a lot better. Heavyweight tool, fairly sharp out of the package. Not up the the quality of a corona or bahco.

This is a well made product from Joseph Bentley .The Bypass Snips are reassuringly solid and incredibly for this day and age made in England .They cut Flower stems easily in the garden and general tidying up of plants . A added bonus (for Myself ) is they are perfect for cutting my big toe nails so a really usefull and nifty product .Like all Joseph Bentley Tools they are built to last. The occasional wipe and clean and a dab of oil every now and then will ensure the Bypass Snips last for years to come .

This is a tool I should hate to be without, am always frightened when it is misplaced, delighted when it turns up again. A tool that makes an excellent gift. Why cannot Joseph Bentley sell these locally ? A good many people are unaware of this product.
