Think Crucial Replacement for Dyson DC25 Brush Roller & 2 Drive Belts, Compatible With Part # 917391-01, 914123-01 & 914006-01

This phg. was purchased as an on-shelf stand-by -- we have not needed to replace the belt or roller yet = 4+ years of ownership and residential use. They appear to be an EXACT replacement but at a fraction of the OEM cost. Note: We also purchased the end-caps from a different Amazon vendor; those plus this combo represent the lions-share of hard/"quick' ware-down user replaceable parts aside from the two washable/reusable HEPA filters. Would recommend to a friend or anyone with a DC25.

We've owned our Dyson DC-25 for almost 3 years. We have 2 dogs with mainly wood floors, with some large area rugs. Over time, like most vacuums, the brushroll will need to be replaced; even with normal cleaning and hair/debris removal. The belts will naturally wear overtime as well. We picked this replacement kit up about 2 months ago, and replaced the belt and brushroll. Our DC-25 works like the first day we purchased it. Also, as with any Dyson make sure you clean/replace the filters often, and it should provide you years of quality use. This was a needed maintenance kit for our Dyson. Decent value as well.

I was considering buying a new vacuum cleaner because mine just wasn't picking up as well as it used to. For $15 I took the chance and ordered this new roller brush for the old vacuum and it works like a charm. I guess I can keep my old vacuum for awhile longer! It was super easy to install. When I compared the brushes on the old roller to the new one, I could see why the old one wasn't working so well!

Exactly what I had hoped for. Our stock roller got a rock jammed in it, which deeply scored it and made it unsafe to use with the vacuum. I purchased this replacement and it fits perfectly and the our DC 25 animal works just like new. Perfect replacement, at less than the cost of one from Dyson - with free Prime shipping as well!

First time I ordered this item it broke within 40 days the first time I removed it from the vaccuum to clean it the plastic inside piece broke. Then I reordered and the 2nd one arrived broken.

Arrived on time in perfect condition. In my youth had worked on Hoover and Kirby vacuums. The Dyson is a little more complicated to open up then the old dinosaurs, but possible with perseverance. All turned out well.

Quick and easy install. (less than 25 minutes) should have done it last year. Works great!

Got this package as my previous belt had worn through and the roller looked tired. Fairly straight forward to fit although a little fiddly getting the belt on he motor cog. Works well and the Dyson is a lot quieter too.
