Incomplete
Product needs a continuous trim or flat stock to be attached with any consistency. Otherwise it bows between anchors. Nails provided are comical and screws with flat washers 12” on center don’t hold it tight either. Rubber shape seems to be correct if you can get it anchored consistently.

Fairly impressive product.
It was easy to put the sides up but I needed an assistant for the top piece. I gave it a 1 star for adhesion because there are no adhesives on the product.

Works well
Key to success with this product is getting a line on the frame/trim around the door where the seal is flush against the door with a little pressure, and then working with the door open to do the nailing. I found that using a couple screws with wide flat washers (stainless or galvanized) at the start of each section is a great deal easier than trying to nail a loose end. It secures the seal so you can proceed without it wandering too much. I sprayed some silicone lubricant on the rear of the seal that’s in contact with the door to reduce friction because the pressure of the seal does add load to the the door opener. Happy with the reduction in air intrusion.

Needs molding to complete installation and seal properly
The "problem" with the product is likely my understanding of how it needs to be installed. I was under the impression that this would be a "stand alone" product to seal around my garage door. I was wrong. It does not lay properly against the door without molding on top. When positioned close enough to seal, it is pushed behind the edge of the door when it closes. When positioned further away, it does not seal. I understand now that molding, placed on top of the seal, will hold it in the correct position to seal properly.I chose to purchase molding with the rubber seal already attached for a cleaner, easier installation. I did not end up using this seal, which I cannot return after installing. My error, but you should be aware of this to avoid a similar error.

Night and day garage seal. It works.
Night and day. Perfect. Easy to install. Did not use the nails it came with. Got 1/2 inch screws from Amazon. Installed it over the old vinyl seal that was not making a tight contact to the garage door. What a difference. 1. Stretch it a bit and drill the screws every 5 inches apart. 2. Install the top first 2. Cut the side top corners about 45 degrees so it does not overlap. Could not ask for more. I installed it with garage closed so that it could make a tight seal. 100% recommended. I don't know where all the negative reviews are coming from. Buy it. You won't regret it.

I don't recommend this
It isn't a terrible product, but it was difficult for me to work with. I bought this because I thought the trim pieces with this pre-installed were too expensive, but I found 8ft runs for $10 at Lowes. This will be good for some other project I am sure!

cheaper but better quality than Home Depot competitors
Got new garage doors installed and need the door seals to close the top and side gaps. I first ran to Home Depot and checked out the options. The products were either difficult to install or way too expensive, considering I have 2 8x7' garage doors to seal up, cost almost double. Searched on amazon, and found this one, all you need is just tape measure (remember to cut a bit longer, 1/2", so you can always cut down or cut an angle later), snips and a little hammer. The package comes with more than enough nails so you can secure the seal on the wood door trim, enough for two standard square 8x7 garage doors.
