The only mistake I made with this order was that I did not buy two! This shirt has been one of the most important keys to my healing. The fit was as expected, did not shrink in the dryer and soft enough for waking and sleeping. The fabric did not irritate my chest and the tabs were used at night to keep the drain line in place. I hesitated on buying another shirt due to the price but it is worth it and again wished I had that second shirt on hand.

Except for this being a little large, this was my go-to shirt after I had a single mastectomy. It was comfy, easier to get into since it had a front zipper and since it was winter, kept me warm (many of the other lower cost shirts were all short sleeved). It does look like your wearing a jacket, but the fact that it had interior pockets with Velcro to hold the drain bulb was awesome.

THIS CAMISOLE TURNED OUT PERFECT. I HAD A BILATERAL WITH 4 DRAINS. THERE ARE 4 POCKETS TO HOLD THE DRAIN. THE FABRIC IS VERY SOFT AND COMFORTABLE.. DEFINITELY RECOMMEND, ESPECIALLY FOR THE PRICE..

I wore this home from the hospital with a camisole underneath. The gathering under the chest area is comfortable and gives the jacket shape while allowing it to drape over the drains without showing bulk. The zipper has a fabric flap the folds over both the top and bottom so no metal touches your skin. However, due to this construction design the jacket cannot be comfortably left unzipped at the top as the zipper remains upright and will poke the neck/chin area. The jacket looks fine and is comfortable zipped but I had thought I might be able to zip it part way and have the camisole show but this didn't work out for me. Overall this was a good purchase for my needs after surgery and will be used again during my reconstruction period.

Bought for use after breast cancer surgery. The idea is great. The fabric for the pink color is soft but is a little more transparent then I would like and the zipper is a little difficult for me to fasten at the bottom. It did wash well and did not shrink. The pockets on the inside are very useful. A pocket or pockets on the outside as well would have been great and would have made me give it a five star rating.

I bought this before my double mastectomy to have in the hospital and post-surgery at home for recovery. I would have used it more but it was just so huge compared to what I was expecting. I tried to shrink it in the washer/dryer, but that didn't work. I had to roll up the sleeves so much and it hung on me like a tent. The drain pockets are nice and it would have been a very useful thing to wear if it hadn't been so over-sized. I got it days before my surgery so there wasn't enough time to return it for a smaller size. I still wore it as a light jacket for a while after surgery. It's a good buy if you order smaller than you think. I usually wear a snug XL or a loose-fitting 1X so I ordered the 1X to leave room for bandages and swelling. But it fit like a 3X on me. I could probably have gotten away with a L and I don't wear a L in anything. So order smaller and see how it works for you.

Just the right fabric weight for sitting around recovering from surgery. Size as expected.

My favorite shirt post bilateral mastectomy with 4 drains.I ordered this a few days after my surgery, only wish I’d bought it before and brought it with me to the hospital to wear home.I’m 5’7”, 150 lbs, bought a large/grey.It runs big which I like. Soft, thick cotton. Swing bottom so it feels bigger but I bought a different shirt that’s more fitted and the ports in the pockets bulge so this is good that it’s a swing bottom.The interior pockets are secure. The only minor issue I s that the pockets on each side are stitched down the middle so it’s a little bit of wiggling to get the ports in. But its still worth it.Great shirt, highly recommend. I only wish I’d gotten 2 cuz we need to wear a clean shirt everyday while healing for the first 2-4 weeks.
