really nice smooth paper; i like the designs a lot, i like that the pages are thin so i can write more, its pretty sturdy too and i use it for all kinds of note taking

I used this journal for my media law course, mostly to sit down and rewrite and copy down every slide so I could take additional notes during my lectures. The size and spacing was good, I ended up using the entire journal in one semester and had to order another after the midterm to continue my notes. It has a really good feel to it, like writing on good quality paper along with the really cute design. I also love that there is a section on the front, because I was able to write down which class I was using the journal for. Highly recommend these decomposition journals if you want something sturdy, cute, and better for the environment.

Bought this as part of a gift for a friend who loves mermaids! The cover is a little more fragile because it is made out of recycled paper. I didn’t find this to be a concern at all. I think it was great quality and a unique, cute cover!

Wonderful really cute notebook

I really like this decomposition brand of notebooks. They're much more expensive than your traditional spiral and bound notebooks, but there definitely is a bump up in quality and unique/cute factors - I'm just not sure it quite justifies the price though.I first bought one of these at a grocery store when I was in a rush and needed a notebook, and there they were near the registers. Because of my rush I paid the higher price even though I felt kinda sulky about it. However, it ended up becoming a favorite notebook and I've since bought a few more.This brand always has fun & unique covers, unlike the standard spiral and bound notebooks. However, the thing that keeps me coming back is the smooth quality of the paper within. I've found this difference in smoothness with other expensive notebook brands and realized that writing in them also has a smoother feel and the ink even seems to write better and look better on the paper (sounds crazy I know, but seriously...). This is especially so if you use fine tip non-roller type pens, like prisma inks Sakura 30067 8-Piece Pigma Micron, Graphic & Brush Pen Set, Black which are my ultimate favorite pens for any and everything. So when you combine super fun covers and the really smooth paper it makes it hard to go back to regular, standard spiral notebooks :o(If you're looking for other notebooks with the super smooth paper but less whimsical covers then look at the Clairefontaine brand: Clairefontaine Wirebound 3 Holes Notebook - Letter Size (8.5 x 11 inches), Lined, 180 pages I love the feel of the paper in these notebooks too.

I love the style and look of this notebook. It’s also pretty durable even though it is just cardboard cover. Paper is thick but also thin at the same time. I used highlighters and it bled through the page. Not too much but w can definitely see where I highlighted on the other side. Super smooth paper is great for note taking and you get a lot of pages.

Love this brand and the fact it’s recycled a paper. It’s high quality and feels great to write on it.
