Mustad UltraPoint Jig Hook with 90-Degree Round Bend (Pack of 100)

I wish I had started with these hooks. I have tried many others, most of which are much more expensive, and they either bend too easily or outright break. Mustad has really improved its hooks over the years.

I use these for balanced leech fly patterns. Economical, strong and sharp.

I tie jigs for salmon and steelhead and these are the only hooks I use. Yeah you get a defective hook here and there, but 99% of them are perfect. Plenty strong for the biggest of steelhead or salmon and would recommend to any jig tier out there.

These hooks are strong, slight larger diameter than fine wire hooks but great for small swim baits and these are not going to bend out on the hog.

Sharper than I expected. Great value. I also use Gamakatsu 604s and these are 1 size larger ( size 1 mustad = size 1/0 gam 604 ). I use these for steelhead jigs so I was concerned with how sharp they would be. I have made about 60 of the 100 hooks into jigs and all hooks have been extremely sharp.

Love these hooks. Good price. Little heavier wire so had to dremmel the mold a little but thats ok.

Just make sure you measure your mold before you buy these. They did not fit in my mold. the Adygil (2) 1/2, (2) 3/4, (1) 1oz.Very good quality of hooks wish they fit the mold.
