Genuine GM 12542999 Grille Emblem, Front

They found the right part for me, but when I got it, it is just a $30.00 emblem they conned me for $124.00.. I needed the part to finish the truck, For $124. I thought it would be metal or a higher quality item than it is.

This emblem is genuine GM. Came in original packaging. Fits perfectly. Expensive for what it is...

i ordered 2 of these a year and a half ago because im restoring 2 older trucks...just finished all the work on the vehicles, pulled out my 2 new emblems, one looks great how its supposed to, the other one has a weird black stain inside the emblem beneath the plastic cover which is sealed from the factory, very weird i think this one was a defective one that was sent to me anyway. sucks because these emblems are over 100 bucks each

Junk. Bought two of these for my gmt400 trucks. The one in the photos was installed 10 months ago and the gold is corroding/flaking off. Truck sits outside but isn’t driven in salt.

Its a perfect replacement Chevy bowtie badge for my 97 k1500. The face and sides are clear, the inside is gold, and the back is black, so it only looks like it has a black border. It comes with 2 new quick nuts that I replaced with some I got at my local parts store because they're not as good in my opinion. I followed a suggestion of sealing the seam between the clear and black so water won't get in and ruin the gold. My old one wasn't done and had no problems other than being faded, but better safe than sorry and it just took a minute. It was the best price I could find for new but they are, ALL, still over priced. Again, just my opinion.
