Tests prove it does not Alkaline as it claims !
Dylan claims to increase pH to 9+ . I followed the instructions. After 1 hour, I did my own research my using professional drops and strips. The Dylan water is only reaching a 6.5 at best which is not even neutral. I then tested a glass of my R.O. Water (Reverse Osmosis) from my kitchen and added a small pinch of baking soda . The pH reading on my own water reached 8. I then tested the TDS (Total Disolved Solids) The water coming out of my kitchen R.O.water was 14 ppm TDS and the Dylan water was 84 ppm TDS. My conclusion is that this Dylan water is not at all what it claims . If you want your water/body to be Alkaline. Just put a pinch of baking soda in your water glass/bottle instead . The bottle is attractive however, it is not insulated . It does not keep water cold . I’m sending mine back !

Good but not great.
Like it as a water bottle but it does not hold temperature, i.e., iced water. You need to alkaline the water and put it in another bottle like a hydroflask. Secondly, they don't recommend adding flavorings to the bottle. Thirdly, I think you need to remove the diffuser to wash it with soap. But for what it is, it's a good product. I like it.

only concern: alkalinizing element & removal tool need a redesign
First day with this bottle, + new digital PH tester, + new Katadyn filter. Tap water here is already quite alk-- mid/high 8s. So I tested this bottle with both unfiltered & filtered tap water. Important difference, coz the Katadyn alone (ceramic & carbon elements) raised PH 0.5 - 0.7, into the low/mid 9s, single handedly!Happy to report, this bottle also works! Raised my unfiltered tap water 0.5 - 0.8, into the mid 9s. Similar result with the higher PH filtered water-- bumped it up to the high 9s; even saw the tester briefly exceed 10 while it was still settling down, when in landed in 9.9x area.I'd give this bottle 4 stars with a good redesign of the way the filter element attaches, and the tool for removing/attaching it. And I'd go 5 stars for consistent +1.0 alk raises.Edit 9/1/18: filtered water in the bottle overnight, around 8 hrs, with several bottle shakes during, tested 10.6 in the morning, fresh out of the bottle. So, time in the bottle matters! I imagine the steepest alk rise happens in the first ~20-30m, then becoming a slow steady rise over the subsequent hours. I do find that the alk level slowly falls with the H2O sitting in an open glass at room temp. For example, that fresh out of bottle water which tested 10.5, an hour later sitting in an open glass, tested 10.25; and in my experience it will fall further, below 10 somewhere. In this way, PH is frankly a mystery to me-- like, what about the nature of the water changed in that ~hour? Regardless, this bottle is happy to have you drink straight from it, which = the highest PH level.

Need filtered purified water to use this product Pointless!
Completely pointless to buy this product because it requires filtered purified water for use. Furthermore you need unconventional tools to remove the Diffuser before First use which were provided but still unable to remove Diffuser. You need to buy bottled water to use this product which why would you not just buy PH8 or PH9 water instead of wasting time & money on this.Getting a refund from the manufacturer still hasn’t been accomplished after 9 emails.Lesson Learned: Do Not Buy This Product!

Does not raise ph.
Nice looking bottle but does not raise ph at all. I did several tests with no change. I would like to return the items but my wife threw the packaging away.

Expectations met????
Just received the water bottle. Very nice quality. Looks good. The tool worked perfect. Not sure how people have problems with using it. I tested the ph of the water before and after following directions. I used filtered water from my refrigerator. Before entering the bottle my water was 7.0. After following the directions of soaking the diffuser for 20 minutes. And then adding filtered water to the bottle and letting it sit for 20 minutes in the bottle. The ph rose to 7.5. Did it work yes. Were the expectations met? Not really. I guess I expected the ph to get to 8-9.

Worked for awhile, now leaks
I liked this product at first, but now it leaks from the bottom after a short drop. It leaked all over my counter slowly...I was glad it wasn’t in a bag, so at least I could see the water seeping out.

Good water bottle
Water has a different taste to it. But bottle is very nice. Cap is noisy when removing on putting back on
