Chip works as advertised!
Works great with my Humminbird 899. Just download software and lakes you want and insert in fishinder. Make sure if you have 2 slots and record your sonar you "lock" the Navionics chip. It's a little pricey but being able to download from any part of the U.S. and Canada is worth it. I would definitely recommend this product to any fisherman wanting to know depth and contour lines of your favorite lake. You can also go to their website to see if your lake is on their list and if it's HD or not.

but I'm very happy with the additional detail and coverage
A must have over the stock navigation maps that come with most chart-plotters. I can't say whether or not I prefer this over Lakemaster, as I've never used it, but I'm very happy with the additional detail and coverage. I received a 16gb card pre-loaded with all the charts. I did update the maps before installing to have the most current version. One thing to keep in mind is that while this card has all the features that Navionics offers, not all GPS units support all the features. I have a Humminbird 899 HD SI, and the community edits are not supported. Kind of a bummer but not a deal breaker. I also have these maps on my phone, and the community edits are available on there, so I can always look them up on my phone first if there was something of interest.

Great unit For the price
This is my second purchase I have two Lowrance HDS Live units on two boats and these cards are great I use the US and Canada cards as I fish on the lakes around Tennessee and Kentucky as well as SW Florida I am trying to plan a trip up into Canada and I’m hoping it works as well up there as it has in the states. I would recommend these products as they have been a great value for the price.

Could not find this anywhere when i was lookin but ...
Could not find this anywhere when i was lookin but you can use this card with the humminbird helix 5 si. You just delete the info off the card from the chart installer app and then just load back in a bit under 2gb of maps and sonar charts and the helix recognizes it and works with no problem. I just did it and it worked for me.

I bought this product for my Humminbird Helix 7 depth finder. Since it covers all of North America I think it's a very good deal. I fish from Wisconsin to Alabama and my other Humminbird 587 has a chip for just the southern states and was more expensive. This chip came with a year of free updates, just put the micro SD in an SD adapter and then into your computer. Go to the Navionics site and do the update; easy peasy.I found the depths to be accurate if you allow for lake level differences. I am happy with the product for the price paid.

Good detail.
Traveling on the Great Loop, this has enough detail to keep us out of trouble

Disappointing. Offshore detail is horrible for fishing.
I bought this chart for better contour. That's all I wanted. The nearshore stuff is great, excellent detail, buoys, etc, but anything 3+ miles out is terrible. I have to switch to the factory charts to get my 1000fathom and 1500 fathom lines. I'm so disappointed in the new setup, I'm probably going to sell this set and reinstall an old chartplotter - either my Standard Horizon 350 or Garmin 541S.

This is a good quality product.
I like this chip to aid in navigation on Lake Huron. It has every water way in the area mapped, very happy with the product. The hardest thing is downloading the area I want to concentrate on, using it in my boat is a breeze.

Easy to use.
Good product. Worked as advertised. Plugged right into my Helix 7 and went to work. Map updates take quite a while so be prepared to start the update and leave it for an hour or two.

Didn’t come with the USB adapter
I bought this for my husband for Christmas and he just opened it to start using and there is no USB in the box. Someone please contact me about this… considering the price you would think someone would make sure it’s all there. Definitely not happy with my purchase.

It worked great as a guide line when my helix 7 could ...
I have only been able to use it once, in a big lake. It worked great as a guide line when my helix 7 could not read the depth past 600 feet. But the charts had given me a really good idea of the depth and a guide line of water that was under two hundred feet. The one problem that I found was I could not mark a fishing area on the chart. not sure if there was a way around it but maybe with more time on it. I live in northern BC Canada, and it had maps of the local lakes, and I was able to update any information that may have changed with the free year subscription. From what I had seen on the chart coverage it looks to be all of Canada.
