VINTAGE Corning Pyrex Flameware 6 Cup Percolator Coffee Pot

I had a Pyrex Coffee Percolator just like this one which was my mother's and I, being careless, cracked it. I was devastated! I tried to buy one from Pyrex, they are no longer available. I tried a few different vendors on Amazon but upon receipt, each one was not quite right, until I received this vendor's item. It was just as it had been described and simply put, a perfect replacement! Just lovely!

Yes, the method is a bit old-fashioned, however, this glass percolator makes the greatest pot of coffee. I own a metal percolator, K-cup machine, timed specialty brewer, but nothing compares to the amazing taste from my glass percolator. And yes, it far beats the coffee served at those overrated nationwide chains. The shop in North Carolina from which I purchased the percolator took excellent care in packaging the glass and shipped it right away. Though the set is vintage, it arrived perfect, looking brand new!
