This is the best one you can get. Better than oem, exact fit 2.0L turbo
All good. This will directly fit 2013 ford escape 2.0L turbo or any 2.0 turbo in this series from the escape to focus etc... it is a direct match fit with improved clamps. The oem clamps are horrible and a pain to get the green clamps put then the Grey ones then pop the hose off. These just click in and two finger click off. Terrific product. 400 miles on it so far with 0 issues. Will fix your egr codes and gas tank pressure sensor codes.

Easy to install since click-in mechanism is superior to OEM
This fixed the P4150 error on a Ford Escape 2.0L, 2016.This part installs in minutes since it just clicks in, there is no need to secure the clips etc.It clips in audibly, which is also pretty nice since two attachment sites will be blocked from sight when reaching into the engine. So, 5 stars for that. The installation will take a long time thanks to the truly fecal Ford original part. Besides being impossible to reach, the clips require two steps to remove: a U-shaped green safety clip secures the two pressure points that would release the mechanism that keeps the hose from slipping off. For heaven's sake, why??? What in the world could press on opposite sites of this buried contraption and firmly pull at the same time? At least three connection sites are very hard to reach, and one will probably have to pry them off with pliers that will likely crack the plastic connector (gets brittle with time). Here more details:Those green clips will most likely break off since they get brittle with time, so the old part is not really recyclable. No reason to try to pull it off in one part - see below. The installation requires the removal of the air filter and the large first tubing on top of the engine, which is not a great issue, but not really mentioned in many instruction videos. Two, maybe three hose attachment sites are extremely hard to reach, a long flat screw driver will help (removal of green clips by force). Maybe some pliers to squeeze the connector and pull at the same time.It might crack, but no problem. The best is to study the original clipping mechanism on the easy to reach connector that attaches to the air duct on top of the engine. This helps understand what need to be done with those clips that are not clearly visible and barely reachable. One clip is nearly impossible to unclip since it connects to the air intake in the front center of the engine. The stiff tubing faces straight upwards and blocks access to the clipping mechanism. The gap barely fits a man's forearm and hand. So, ideally, one should try to cut off the old hose right above the connector, and then it is much easier to unclip. There is also a risk to break the nozzle off the air intake to which the connector attaches, which is the same plastic as the air duct. Finally, do not bother installing the new metal holder for the actual part that needs to be replaced:the valve, which connects to the electrical plug. There is a thick rubber piece that holds the valve in place, just use a screwdriver and pry off the old (broken) valve after disconnecting all hoses and the wiring. The rubber will likely tear, but use the new rubber connection, which slides over the old metal holder easily. It is not worthwhile trying to unscrew the two hard to reach screws for the metal bracket.

Great purchase
Worked perfectly. My 2014 ford escape has been having problems I’ve changed the fuel pump high pressure and low pressure multiple times the module and nothing seemed to work but this did !!

Has worked excellent so far
This was ordered for a 2015 Ford Escape Titanium. The computer was setting an engine code indicating a problem with this system. I replaced it, and the problem cleared and has not returned. The product was installed exactly as the instructions indicated. It isn't fun to replace, but took less than a half hour.

Worked great
Same as offered by local parts store, but a lot cheaper. A total pain to install, but it can be done.

Dorman Purge Valve
Got a code right after replacing turbo, of course, saw the code said to replace this part and then bang we are done. I’ve used plenty of Dorman products and all have held up to the test of time so far.
