This mat exceeded my performance expectations. To begin with, after reading other reviews, I was concerned with the notion of it having a strong odor, since I am very sensitive to odors. I contacted customer service about this. They explained that some customers complain, others did not. However, they assured me that I had nothing to lose because they would honor any decision I made about whether or not I kept the mat or returned it for a full refund. In short: if the mat stinks, send it back.It reeked horribly upon unwrapping. And I let them know that. But, honestly, that's not unusual. Every higher end mat that I've ever purchased initially smelled and made me nauseous. I laid the mat for several days with a fan blowing on it. Still smelled toxic. I contacted customer service and asked them if I washed the mat if that would void my ability to return the mat for a full refund. They assured me doing so would not. I washed it in the delicate cycle (90 minutes) with nothing but a cup of vinegar, which removed the vulgar smell. My mat looks great and performs well, I don't slip at all, great grip! I really couldn't ask for anything more from either the mat or the great customer service at EVO. Buy it, try it. You have nothing to lose. Send it back if it doesn't meet your expectations. Everyone I communicated with was awesome!

This yoga mat is amazing! It is super colorful and super durable! Easy to wipe off and roll up! Very comfortable to do workouts on! It is made with much more durable material then cheaper versions! Its definitely worth the money! It was delivered early, no weird smells and came with yoga booklet and free yoga videos! I absolutely LOVE this mat! It's exactly what I expected it to be from its photos and description! Its a bit heavier then other yoga mats but its from the extra durable material so well worth it! I love it and would definitely recommend!

I have had quite a few yoga mats over the years and always found some of the same issues mostly being balance and comfort related. My hands sweat quite a bit and so I need something with a good texture and traction and the finishing on this mat is AMAZING!The weight is nice and heavy without being TOO heavy and helps keep the mat secure on the ground. I feel super balanced and sturdy on this mat PLUS I love the design on top which is subtle, but still stands out.Hands down my favorite mat to date!

Awesome mat! Heavy duty which also causes it to be heavier than the cheap mats so maybe not the best to take on an airplane with you. Color is a dark charcoal color not silver as the photo makes it seem. I have tried this in both a 60 minute and 90 minute hot yoga class and had no slipping problems in the 60 min class but did start slipping a bit in the 90 min class. It has a slight rubbery smell but only really notice when my nose is on the mat in child's pose. All in all, I love this mat and feel the price was really good compared to other options out there. Might but one for my husband for Christmas this year. He'll love that it's a little bigger than the standard mat.

Nice! New to yoga and I must say the grip makes a huge difference for poses! Very very cute! Lightweight. Easy to travel with. 4 stars for cleaning bc it absorbs liquid, my sweat stuck to the mat and took awhile to dry and I went to disinfect the mat and it absorbed where I would spray it, put it in front of a fan and it dried fine. No funny smells . A good buy!!

This mat is thin, but heavy, and great for balance and stability. I was very skeptical of this mat when I first received it, as I thought it would not be very grippy during downward dog. It actually gets grippier with more sweat, which I provide it with a lot of during hot yoga. The absolute neatest thing about this is, that when I clean it at the end of class, my towel glides right over it like it is glass. My last mat wanted to grip my cleaning towel more than me! I can't imagine a better mat.

I read so many yoga mat reviews that my head was spinning but my research ended here and thank God! I love this mat! I use it for hot, sweaty yoga and regular yoga. No slipping for either. It also grips great to the floor for my boot camp classes. And like other reviews said, it's very thin but surprisingly cushy for how thin it is. I really love this mat! Way better than the pricey mats!! It's a nice design too!My only con is that I'm pretty tall and it is a little short for me but I just adjust a little and it works great. Wish they offered an extra long version.

This mat truly is non-slip! I've used it in both my yoga and piyo classes, and I have been more successful than I ever have.My hands usually slip in down dog towards the end of my practice, but I've stayed solid. In balancing poses, it almost felt like I was cheating! I love the design; it truly does make me think about my alignment. I got it in black, so it's subtle. The picture makes it look a little more silvery/metallic than it actually is. There was no strong odor. The smell of this mat does not bother me. It's certainly better than the odor that comes from borrowing a mat from the studio! Highly recommend!

I am in love with this mat!!! The quality is amazing and looks and feels exactly like Liforme mat material (minus the alignment designs but I much prefer these lotus mandalas). Such great value that I told all my yoga mates about this! Grip is fantastic, and I love the solid, dense feel the 3mm provides. It feels solid under my feet and doesn't sink, unlike one of those cheap foamier mats. I find it hard to balance when mats are too thick or soft, so this is just right. It is indeed on the heavier side, but so are Liforme mats. Here, I have put it side by side with my regular practise mat, Manduka Pro.
