Italeri PT Boat Conversion Kit

in case some three or two parts damages from smash mail box when they see the part broke make they not appreicate that. but I can fix on it those good parts all togethers also ITALERI is best model scales company!

I bought this kit as, like for many modellers the kit offers parts that permit quick and accurate options to be undertaken when constructing PT Boats and their various versions. The high side of this kit is that it gives a variety of parts to the modeller and also is extremely accurate with crisp, clean detail evident in all the various equipment. However, there are some down sides to the kit as well. The kit contains two sprues for constructing the following equipment and weapons used on US PT Boats:1. A 40mm Bofors gun2. A 20mm Oerlikon gun3. One Anchor4. An inflatable life raft5. 4 x Depth Charges6. 2 x Life Preservers7. 2 x different Radar Masts8. 1 x Mk. 8 Torpedo9. 1 x Mk.13 TorpedoThere is also a photo etch fret of small parts such as straps, etc.I would personally liked it if Italeri had increased the torpedoes to 2 x examples of each type and also have included the torpedo tubes and mounting equipment. One or two 0.50 Calibre MG's would also have been a good addition.Nonetheless, the modeller will not be disappointed with the accuracy and Italeri's attention to detail in each piece of equipment. This accuracy is extremely well done. In summary, a well presented kit, free from excess flash and with a suitable array of additional equipment and weapons that were found on US Pt Boats, however I would have personally liked Italeri to have added just a little bit more. Well done, Italeri!

Nice but incomplete and needed two kits . Still worked out very nice

Great product - fast delivery

I wanted to convert my PT-596 to the PT-509 but lacked the radar mast and depth charges. This kit is kind of expensive ($35) for the two sprues of plastic, but will save me a bunch of time scratch-building the mast and other stuff.overall happy

Probabilmente se ne può fare a meno se si vuole montare la PT-109, ma molto utile per la conversione e personalizzazione delle PT classe 80 e delle unità inglesi. Molto ben realizzato!
