Lately I had not been sleeping too well as I found my current blanketvery heavy and bulky and when I was moving to a new apartment ..Ithought I needed something new but something very light weight andsoft as silk.. I wanted something really nice.I was actually familiar with this Down Under brand is my mom has aCanada goose comforter from them but I still did my research and Iwasn’t disappointed.If you’re tired of sleeping hot then this is perfect. It’s so superlightweight and yet warm but I live in Chicago so if it’s snowing youmight need something more if gets really cold. The duvet has got thesereally unique corner tabs ties so I can attach it to my duvet coverand it stays in place without moving around anymore. I really dislikewhen the duvet is moving around inside.Also another pro advantage is you can wash without wasting a lot ofmoney in dry cleaning bills. One place wanted over $50 for cleaning..Now I am sleeping much better these days. The comforter is stitchedwell so the silk fill does not move around like down or feathersI did my research. This brand uses only have the best long strandmulberry silk that’s why this duvet comforter feels so soft and lightbut still warm. Now I'm thinking about some silk sheets as Spring isin the air.

Its quite flat. I've slept for few nights now in hot climate and don't find it cool keeps me about the same temp as my old duvet. It's quite soft and we'll made but I use a duvet cover so that doesn't matter to me anywaysIf I'm being honest for the price I don't think it's worth it. The material is very nice but again it's flat and I don see much difference than any other duvet. I'm gonna return and get some less expensive fluffier duvet for half the price of this. Where your money should be spent is good quality sheets/duvet cover/pillows. That's really what brings the comfort.

I have been waking up mornings soaking wet and sweaty. I accepted it that was just going to be my new normal. Read about silk and saw one in Costco. I wreaked our old comforter needed to buy a new one and decided to take a leap and try one. I absolutely LOVE it. It has helped so much that I no longer wake up sweaty, it just comfortable. I bought two of these. One for each of my kids. I was looking to avoid polyester and have something light that would wash well as they are young. I love them. Perfect for summer and winter - light and they wash well. Would def buy again. (Using for 8 mths)

I love to sleep with a duvet in the winter but in the summer it's simply too hot. My boyfriend and I both love this comforter and we run at different temperatures; he's hot and I am cold. I would highly recommend for anyone in a similar situation.

We purchased this as a 'summer duvet' because our regular synthetic duvet was too hot, especially when 'suffering' night sweats and hot flashes. When this blanket arrived, we were surprised by how thin/flat it was, compared to the fluffy appearance of the duvet. And when you first cover yourself with it, it feels cool to the touch. We were concerned that it might not offer enough heat--but after a few nights of sleeping well, we agree that this is a very comfortable duvet that does not trigger asthma/allergy types of reactions. We highly recommend this product!
