One of the cans came extremely dented… I reached out to the seller, I didn’t know I would get such an awesome response… The seller was extremely helpful and apologetic… I realized the seller is trying their best to let the product reach to us without any dent. I have since ordered more from the seller and will continue to do so. PS the Ackees were delicious! 😋 I bought 2 more cans and it’s really good! The second picture is from the second cans that I ordered.

A little on the pricey side but great quality for the money! Grace is definitely the best brand that I have tried so far.I don't have great access to Jamaican products where I live so I appreciate the ability to buy this product online so I can make some delicious ackee and saltfish.

Loved the taste

Obviously, there is nothing like fresh ackee. Canned ackees are always going to be softer in texture, however the flavor is there. Although I usually use tilapia (it is convenient) instead of saltfish, many stores now carry boneless saltfish in the freezer section. Using saltfish (often cod) does enhance the flavor of the dish, giving it that traditional flair. Adding a little scotch bonnet peppers will really heighten that flavor. There are a number You tube videos that give detailed instructions on how to prepare this national dish of Jamaica.

Doesn't worth the price.

I was very skeptical of this product before buying it for the first time. I had just from a month-long visit to Jamaica where I enjoyed ackee in real home cooking. I bought this ackee after reading the favorable reviews by others. I have bought it many more times to great satisfaction. I highly recommend it.

The media could not be loaded. I felt it was imperative in my review, that not only should I include pictures, but a video as well~seeing is believing right!I cannot begin to express the disappointment in this product that was sent to me. This item arrived as you see it, completely dented up, on just about every side! And, to add insult to injury, there is no refund available for this product!This product is expensive trash! I’m disgusted and highly disappointed!

This product looks and tastes like eggs. I open the can, rinse the contents, then heat and eat. Combined with mushrooms and potatoes, it makes an excellent and filling breakfast. Even after rinsing there is no need to add salt.
