The initial one I received did not work as advertised. I simply sent it back to Amazon and received a refund. A couple of weeks later the seller reached out to me asking why I returned it and I explained that once it charged to 100% it dropped to about 92% immediately after unplugging it. I was looking for something reliable and did not want to turn it on one day when I really needed it and there would be little to no charge, etc. The seller offered to send me another one to try as they suspected this one was most likely defective. I agreed to the offer and I have to say that it works great. It holds the charge at 100% after unplugging it, only used about 20% of the charge to charge my 6s+ that was at about 40%. Bank itself charges quickly. It's compact, lightweight and very portable. The unsolicited customer service I received was fantastic....I wish I had given them the opportunity to make this right at the very beginning. I would definitely buy from them again!!

Plus I got it as a lightning deal, but would pay the normal price if I need to replace it or need another one. Would recommend.

I purchased this product from NewCentral. If you are going to purchase this power bank I suggest buying from them. The product deserves roughly 2-3 stars out of 5 as it's really a hit or miss kind of power bank. The bank will either take very long to charge or the battery capacity will be a lot less than the rated 10,000 mAh. Tested it through a couple of different phones and a couple of different charging blocks and yielded the same results. The power bank is somewhat a sub-par product but for the price it's ok. It does the job, just not as good as it should be. However, what deserves 5 stars is the customer service of NewCentral. Those guys were great! They listened to my findings, took note, and took measures in order to solve the issue in a very timely manner. Very polite and understanding. Even though the product did not meet satisfactory standards, if I were to purchase an electronic item and I see the seller is NewCentral, I will not hesitate to purchase it as I know they will make sure I get taken care of no matter the cost! This seller clearly cares for customer service/customer satisfaction above all else.

I bough this to replace {Anker Astro E1 5200mAh Candy bar-Sized Ultra Compact Portable Charger (External Battery Power Bank) with High-Speed Charging PowerIQ Technology) which lasted about two years. This one is much stronger and longer lasting. My phone only lasts about an hour while I'm playing candy crush. With the old charger I could get two full charges out of it while the phone was off. While playing it still lost power.This one actually charges the phone while I'm playing and does it rather quickly. It took about 25% to get a full charge so getting 4 full charges will be great.I haven't tried charging my phone and Kindle at the same time (mainly because I forget I can). I think this is a great feature.I will update after 30 days since I saw at least one review say it died soon after.It does take a long time to charge just like my old one. I'm using the charging cord from the old one.

You can use either a micro USB cord (a short one is provided) or a USB Type C charging cord to charge this unit! Most units I've seen can only be charged by one or the other. It can be charged AND provide power to a phone at the same time! Another thing that not all powerbanks can do.Easily fits into a pocket. There may be lighter chargers out there, but they aren't 10,000 milli amp, they are more like 5,000 mamp. This is a happy medium between huge, powerful powerbanks, and small powerbanks that don't have much stored power!Also like the white color. Really like the digital readout rather than four leds to indicate power charge percent. Seems quite well made. Price was right. UPDATE to say I’d give this thing more than 5 starts if I could! This gets used almost every day, sometimes more than once. It’s still working like new. I’m thrilled with it.The only drawback of this charger is that if you use your device while it is charging, it seems to drain the charger much faster, which makes sense I guess. I carry this in my purse with a cable for my phone and my blue tooth ear buds. It's so nice to be able to recharge as needed without needing to find an open outlet wherever you are. May be giving some as Christmas gifts this year. Shh its a secret
