I have seizures and black out and this has helped protect my head

My family used this helmet for are son who is 5, when he is outside playing... he has epilepsy. It allow him to still go outside and play but protect his head if he has a seizure . He love his helmet he can easily put it on and take it off on his own...

The price was great. The materials used to make this helmet are cheap. The padding is extremely hard, the inside is just fabric that makes my son sweat like crazy so he has to take it off, the velcro strap is too big for a small child, and the ventilation wholes on the top are poorly cut and provide close to no ventilation. Spend your money on a quality helmet instead. You get what you pay for. I don't recommend this product

My husband was in a car wreck and had a head injury, which has left him with mobility issues and he falls down often. This helmet, since it is also used in sports has made him not so self concious in wearing and it does a good job of protecting his head from further injuries.

A not My wife suffers from Huntington's Disease and because she is not restrained and suffers from inadequate judgment regarding her own capabilities, she must wear head protection when not accompanied. This means virtually continuous wearing. It wasn't more than a few days before the pictured sore appeared.

I take a medication that makes falls a reality 12 days every month - and believe me I hit the back of my head at least 2 times every month if not more. This results in severe pain, goose egg sized bumps and trips to the ER.This helmet is light weight and easy to use - I gave it 4 stars for comfort because after a half hour it gets a little warm on the head.I took a nasty fall today and hit my head again - this time I was wearing the helmet AND NO INJURY. My husband was amazed that I didn't feel any pain or discomfort from the impact - normally I would lay there crying for 5 minutes before I could move - this time I was up right away with NO INJURY AT ALL.

I bought 3 of these for my husband who uses it for jiu jitsu. Previously we had gotten him ear covers to protect his ears from swelling, but the other students would complain that the ear covers hurt them when they would roll with my husband. This padded helmet not only protects my husband's ears, but the other students aren't complaining about it because it doesn't hurt them. And in fact, they are considering getting this helmet as well. The price point is really good for this too.

I ordered a medium based on their sizing measurement chart. It was unwearable due to being too small. I then moved up to a large, it too was unwearable because it was too still too tight. The issue is that sides of these helmets are very still and straight and there is no room for my ears. If you want to buy these do not measure according to their instructions, measure around your ears!
