Zim's Crack Creme, Original Liquid Formula, 2 Ounce (Pack of 4)

Absolutely nothing like it! I heard it advertised on talk radio about 14 years ago--2002±. They guaranteed that dry cracks in hands would be healed in two days (if I remember correctly--maybe 3--it's been years). You could get it in Walgreens, then later in Walmart also. I found it to work like nothing else--no other lotions, creams, including ones that are supposed to be so great--works like this stuff. But I haven't heard advertising since way back then, and before too long I couldn't get it in those stores anymore. So I found it online. Oh, by the way, if you have an open crack, sensitive to liquids, this will sting when it gets down in there. But it doesn't harm anything. I make sure I get it well saturated all down in there (I am not talking about a cut or wound, just dry cracks that become deep). It softens it up quickly, so that skin starts becoming pliable again, and can begin healing, instead of being hard and tearing the membranes below. First, understand that Zims Crack "Crème" is NOT a "cream" or lotion. It's an oil with some sort of a smell that I can't quite place, almost like cloves or something, but not exactly. It's a mild smell that I don't think others will smell if you wear it, but if you coat your hands, cup them, and sniff long and deep, it might slightly clear your nose. I'm guessing it's not in the stores anymore because people compare it to other things which have so much more quantity for the same price, so buy something else. However you can use a whole bottle or jar of other things without complete results, while a few days with this stuff does wonders.

Years ago my heels began cracking and were very painful. I tried creams and found one that worked somewhat, Dr. Sholes. Then they stopped making it. I was looking for something to replace it and my wife pointed out Zim’s Crack Cream. I looked at it and thought there was no way this would do anything, the small bottle and very liquid.In spite of my feelings I bought some. I needed something as my feet were in bad shape.I’m not sure how long it took, but using it every night I soon had smooth heels and feet with no cracks or thick callouses.I have been using it ever since.Yes, it works. It is a 5 star product.I gave it 4 stars because of the new packaging without the spray. Bring back the spray.

This stuff is ideal for healing skin that wants to crack and bleed in dry weather. It works well on eczema too. I apply it, rub it in well and let it dry. It takes a while to dry. It goes through a sticky phase before it dries completely. Patience is your friend here; it dries completely with a little more time and then it stays put unless you wash it off. I bought the 4-pack. That much should last me through fall and winter.

Purchased on a total whim! I HAD rough scaly toes and feet, plus completely cracked heels. Did monthly pedis myselt, too scared to go to salons, with razor blade, the only way to shave off heel calluses and try to minimize the cracks, though never removing the cracks completely, we all know the cracks are too deep to shave off.I started using the spray and it took a while to see the difference, definitely not instant. First month or two I used a lot of spray. Probably 7-10 sprays per foot. Rubbing and rubbing, massaging, every night. Also spraying every am. Bought at end of summer, now, 5 month later my feet have transformed. I keep using the spray only in am, before putting socks on. In summer and fall, while I wore sandals, I used it twice a day, at night and in morning.I do not have cracks on my heels. Not one. I'm astounded. Shocked really. For past 20 years I cannot remember any time when I did not have a crack on my heel. Feet are soft and smooth and pink, not ashy! I use this repeatedly to treat my heels so they don't become cracked. First, I PedEgg them, then spray this on. So for, for over 2 years now, my heels are baby smooth.Got a new order on Jan 27 2016. The pump is now gone, and the bottle has a lift up cap. Instead of a spray, you get a stream. Wasteful. This is a terrible change to the packaging. Bring back the spray pump. Because of the cap, I can only give this 1 star. The product itself is worthy of a 5+ star rating. The cap is horrible.

I am a 55 year old, RN. I work with my ahnd a lot. Wash my hand a lot. My finger tips were cracking. I went to four different doctors, they perscribed steroidal creams and lotions with minimal success. I asked a pharmacist what she would recommend, and that is when I started on crack cream. In 3 weeks of applying it twice a day it was all gone. I stopped using it regularly and just put it on as needed now. It is a game changer.

Some years ago I suffered through bleeding, deeply cracked cuticles on mostly my thumbs and fore-fingers. Being I work in the construction field in the Northeast, this was always a winter time problem. Very painful. I tried bag balm and other lotions and they did not work. I stopped in a drug store one day and an employee suggested trying Zim's Crack creme. Funny name, but I bought it. I applied it to all my fingertips in the morning before heading out. About a week later, my deep cracks did not hurt any more and 2 weeks later actually started to heal. The following season I began to use it in late November every year before any cracks developed. I have never had cracked fingers again. My wife now uses it for her cracked heals in winter. I can't find the liquid any more at local drugstores, so I bought it here. The creme version does not work for me and was greasy. I've been using this stuff for 10+ years now. I normally never leave a comment on a product, however this stuff truly works. I have told many other people about this product and they have had the same results as me. Hope this review will help others suffering the same problem as I once had. Great, Great product.
