Yes To Carrots SPF 15 Fragrance-Free Daily Moisturizer, 1.7 Fluid Ounce

At first, I experienced the pilling and a bit of white cast that was warned of in the reviews. However, I have been researching more about natural skincare and learned how to get around these issues! When using oil and water based products together in a skincare regimen, oil should always go second (or not at all). This moisturizer is water-based and would pill when applied after my rosehip oil. I switched to using hyaluronic acid from The Ordinary in the morning and stick to using oils at night and now I experience no pilling at all! And to avoid white cast, warm the product in your hands and then dab it all over your face, quickly pressing it into your skin before it dries. Do not rub! This will keep the zinc on the surface of your skin making it white. You really need to press it in. Ultimately, this formula is lovely. It is light and mattifying without being drying, which is so important for my skin in this humid New Orleans weather. It also does not irritate my skin at all, which a lot of other sunscreen products do. I highly highly recommend this moisturizer!

I’ve been using this moisturizer for about one year now. I like the light scent for the regular fragranced version. I tried this one on a whim and I’m still pleased with the the quality of the moisturizer. For starters, I have an oily t-zone and red-blotchy skin. This moisturizer has been thick enough to keep my face moisturized. It definitely does not leave my skin feeling oily. It absorbs quickly. I use it under my foundation and I have been pleased with the way my foundation layers on it. I believe that it also helps even out my skin tone. The SPF 15 is also pretty great.

I ordered this moisturizer because I'm pregnant and this one is considered safe to use, where my usual moisturizer was listed as "questionable." That said, I've heard great things about the "Yes To" brand and was eager to give it a try.Pros:Unscented- This is "scented" so far as it is a lotion and has a very light lotion-y smell. No perfumes or distinct smells detected (even with pregnancy nose)SPF-15- I prefer SPF for daily use and a cream at night, so I'm using this during the dayMoisturizing- Once absorbed (see below) skin feels soft all dayPortion Control- A single pump dispenses the perfect amount (for me)Cons:Texture- I wouldn't call this a "rich" moisturizer necessarily, but it's not really light either. I'm not quite sure what it is.Absorption- It takes a lot of rubbing to get this moisturizer to really absorb, and once it does it kind of feels sticky and occasionally starts to flake or peel. It's not horrible, but I've certainly used better.I think I might try some of the other "Yes To" products to see if any of them are more similar to what I'm used to, but this will certainly fit the bill in the meantime.

I absolutely love this product. Having sensitive skin makes finding a good skincare product a real challenge. I have a minor allergy to most fragrances and cant use many other products that are out there. Lucky I came across this and found that feels amazing, works great, smells fantastic, and give my skin no issues.So if you have sensitive skin gives this a try, it will do wonders... I can promise you that! I use just about every product these guys make just because they work so fantastically.

This sunscreen is great for everyday use! I have dry skin that breaks out easily if I don't moisturize, so having a single product for daily moisturizing and SPF is so important to me. This product doesn't have a scent (no, it doesn't smell like carrots!) except for the light 'lotion smell' when you apply it, which quickly goes away. It absorbs well, and does not leave a white cast on my face. It works well under my make up and I have not yet been sunburned while wearing it, but if I am going to spend more time outdoors than just a few hours I'll switch to something with SPF 30 or 45.Also- make sure you reapply! If you put this on in the morning and plan to go out for a run after work, give yourself an extra coat before you bust out those sneakers. Not reapplying sunscreen regularly is actually more detrimental than using a low SPF. It doesn't matter what SPF you're using if it wears off and you don't put more on!For those of you looking for cruelty-free or vegan products- this is vegan!

I was looking for a new daily moisturizer to use for my makeup routine. Personally, this moisturizer works great if I don't wear makeup with it. If I do, it dries out quickly and leaves white specks all over my face and makes my skin look super dull and parched. It may just be that it didn't work well with my particular skin type (I have combination skin). It also has a thinner consistency than what I was expecting. Overall it's good, but personally I probably won't buy it again.

I love yes to moisturizers. Have had the grapefruit, carrot, and cucumber night cream. (And various other products over the past few years.)The very best was their yes to grapefruit correct and repair lightly tinted cc cream. But they discontinued it. That is the only problem with this company, they seem to discontinue every product that I get hooked on.Now, as far as the actual product- Their creams are neither too thick or too thin. Love spf included. I am slightly sensitive and nothing has ever caused any reaction or break out. Their prices are great. I recommend them to anyone!! The pump does put out a little more then I need if pressed all the way down. I wondered if that is why some people said it was too thick? Because maybe they are just experiencing too much product at once? I don’t press the pump down all the way, or, if I accidentally do, put the extra on neck area, since that gets sun too it probably appreciates it.
