Kids Songs 2

Having now heard a good deal of children's music, I can confidently say that I find the vast majority to be either shrill, repetitive or saccherine. Thankfully, YouTube led us to the songs of A J Jenkins. Our toddler loves them, and they are easy on our ears even after multiple repetitions. His arrangements are simple but sound full. His voice is calming but confident. The original songs are clever and filled with content that is perfect for a toddler. This is the only children's music that I have heard that doesn't sound sing-songy. I openly admit that certain songs will come around and I will think to myslef "oh - I really like this one". I can't say that I would queue it up by myself for the morning commute, but I have yet to find other children's music that I can easily tolerate, let alone actually enjoy. If he releases new CD's, I would buy them in a heartbeat. He has over a hundred songs on YouTube, and they are worth paying for.

Great purchase! Very good educational songs! I used it when I taught kindergarten and with my first son when he was almost 2 years old. My son loved and memorized all of the songs. He still likes to listen to A.J Jenkins (he is 5 yrs. old). He really learned a lot. I bought Kid Songs 1 & 2. We mainly used it in our cars. Love that it’s a CD and I can skip and/or repeat without having to wait for an Ad. Now I’m buying it again as I can’t find them and I would love to use it with my second son :)

My son is two and a half, and together we discovered KidsTV123 on YouTube. He loves the songs and the videos help him to understand colors, numbers and letters in a fun way that we can discuss and work on together.When we saw that the songs were available for purchase, we knew we had to get them. Over the weekend when we'd drive, we listened to these songs, and our son had a blast, asking for certain ones again.The songs are simple, but what I appreciate about them is that they're not cheesy or goofy. If you watch some kid's entertainment, it seems like they're dumbed down to a level they producer thinks is kid-level. I've never felt like these songs do that. There's a big difference between simple for understanding and learning, and dumbed down. These songs, gratefully, are the former.Our son enjoys these songs, and we enjoy them with him. I'd handily recommend Kids Songs 2.

I was so excited to find this CD because we have been using the Youtube videos of these songs for years in the preschool where I work and the kids love them. They are simple and sweet and sometimes even calming. The kids actually learn letter sounds, shapes, and colors from listening to them. I would recommend them and the videos to anyone who teaches preschool children.

I first discovered these songs on youtube (kidstv123 channel). My daughter is nearly 9 months old and she has been listening to songs by A.J Jenkins since she was 2 months old. These songs are so sweet and each one is educational so if my baby is going to end up knowing any songs by heart I'm thrilled that it will also mean that she will be learning something. And I kid you not, these songs (any of them) are able to calm her down no matter how upset and cranky she is. It is a life saver in the car. I'm thrilled to be buying this CD, managing youtube on my phone is the car is dangerous and annoying. Plus I am so happy to be paying for something SO worth it!Just love!

I do hope they make kids songs 3!!! Not as good Kids Songs 1 but overall not too disappointed in cd.

A.J.Jenkins iCD s an awesome tool to teach with. Yes, the music is up beat but it is also educationally inspiring - if that makes sense. My students truly get the concepts once they hear the tunes. I now would like A. J. Jenkins to come out with a DVD, than life will be petfect.

Purchased twice as well as Jenkins' ABC songs/CD. Beautiful slow(er)...comfortable fun listening for the very young...and then especially nice as young children grow older and want to try to sing along. Our granddaughter is 5 has enjoyed CD(s) since she was one. Very nice for car drives...as well as at home. The best young children's CD(s) I've bought. Adults will enjoy/appreciate the softness of the singing.
