The Edge Desk Ergonomic Kneeling Chair and Desk. Adjustable and Portable. Encourages Proper Upright Sitting, Reduces Fatigue and Pain

The idea is brilliant but this desk is terrible. Hope someone takes the idea and makes a better version. There are also really easy things they can do to make this better - add a handle so you can actually carry it (that’s what portable is supposed to mean) and make clear instructions for setup. The Instructions diagram on the desk when you get it is nothing like the setup video on their website. The video online is a joke. But so is this product.

Contrary to a previous review, I found the desk portion to be quite stable. Still trying to figure out which setting is the most comfortable for long stretches of writing, but so far it's everything I hoped it would be.Now after a couple of weeks from using my desk/chair, I can hardly wait until the same chair is made with additional padding where the knees and shins rest, and also, where my derriere sits. Why? Because I'll buy the new "extra" padded chair, and give my chair to one of my grandkids, who doesn't need the extra padding. Meanwhile I guess I should be gratful for not being able to sit at my desk/chair for more than a hour at a time, because the soreness (mostly in my bottom) makes me get up and move around for a bit, before returning to my writing projects.

We love this kneeling desk. What a great concept. The base and seat are very well-built and sturdy. The design that allows for different heights and angles of the seat and work surface is very well executed. We use this to work outside, or in whichever room of the house makes most sense. Folds very nice and flat to be out of the way when not in use. Only critique is that the work surface does have some movement to it even when secured in position. If this could be improved or fixed all together, there would be nothing left to say. Still, even with that flaw, we're happy with this product.

The most comfortable kneeling chair I have found. And a great high work area. Too bad the top part is too unstable to work on. Desk bends with weight of my arms, causing my lap top to teeter. Great idea, but needs more reinforcement in the desk part. But if the main feature is portability or storage then it's pretty good.

The seat padding is not thick or soft enough for someone over 100 lbs. It causes hip and leg pain. I am 6'1" and found after about 10 minutes sitting with knees on kneeling pads, the cushion had given way to the wood base. Otherwise, good product. It does come fully assembled and is fairly lightweight. I wouldn't say it's something I'd be lugging around in my car to take to the park (like the pictures show), but if you wanted to move it around your home or office, it slides across floor easy enough.

The idea is clever however I quickly developed back pain using it and couldn’t find a comfortable position. I agree the desk top is a bit wobbly but not a fatal flaw. Beware of the fine print, returns are currently not allowed due to COVID.

A few days in of this new WFH order, I knew I had to find a more ergonomic option. This desk stores flat nicely but is rather heavy to be let’s work in the park portable. It’s sturdy but a little wobbly due to its adjustable nature. Don’t fill your tea to the brim. I’m petite and find it comfortable for long working days because I’m able to change positions by using the knee pads to rest my feet or legs.Be careful to hold all movable parts while shifting positions. Parts are solid and will knock you well.

Hello,I purchased and have been using Edge Desk for a few months now. I suffer from a herniated disc in my lower back. This system works perfectly for me. I also use it while playing video games instead of a gaming chair. Only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because the top seems flimsy.

Love this desk! We live in a small house with no room for a study and this desk is the perfect solution. Only thing is that it is quite heavy and I don’t believe the man on the skate board is realistic. However I have no need to carry it on a skateboard, so perfectly fit for purpose!

The top is flimsy and the chair is all marked being pressed. I hoped for so much more.
