PMBR ROCKS
I have taken the bar exam 3 times. I have also passed the bar 3 times in three different states. I have used both barbri and PMBR questions to prepare studying for the bar. Personally, PMBR's MBE practice questions are MUCH closer to the real thing than barbri's MBE questions. Sure, it's good to do them both, however, with so much information to digest, I have just used PMBR's practice MBE questions. I don't mean to suggest you don't use Barbri stuff at all...I used barbri's outlines and essay tips/tricks, but PMBR's MBE questions.

PMBR Great...but
The PMBR books are great...but buyer beware...if the book is completely marked up and all the answers are circled in ink etc., it is virtually useless. If buying it used, pay attention to how used the seller says it actually is.Happy studying!

Necessary books for legal studies
PMBR is not required for law students, but it is highly recommneded for the study and practice of legal subject matter. These books are very expensive if new, so used books are fine, if there are not a lot of distracting pen markings.

Impotant to know.
This product was for multiple choice questions practice exam. However, the book was marked with the answers which defeats the purpose of the book. It is of no use to me with the answers marked already. This should have been indicated in the description.

I definitely recommend this workbook to anyone who still in law school ...
Extremely helpful, I definitely recommend this workbook to anyone who still in law school like me 1L. It provides a quite similar approach that a lot professor use for the MC section. This is a MUST have.

FANTASTIC Buy!
I've passed both the California and the Florida Bar exams using these books. It's hard to find them, but if you do, I highly recommend them!

Confusing
I thought that this book might be helpful in preparing for the bar exam just because people say it has the most challenging mbe practice questions. Unfortunately, it seems that every time I do practice questions from this book, I notice mistakes in their explanations. For example, their flashcards, audio CD and barbri's materials describe rape as a general intent crime. However, one of their practice problems base a whole question around rape being a crime requiring specific intent, i.e. you can defend by saying you didn't intend to rape, and the explanation describes it as such. In the Criminal Law section, there seems to be one of these kinds of mistakes every 10-15 questions. I suspect that these mistakes, as well as the unrealistic length of many of the practice questions, are what give the impression that their questions are the most difficult. The questions that are based more on questions from past exams and/or are based on a correct analysis are not that bad if you know the law well enough.I would suggest that if you must use fake practice questions, stick with barbri. First and foremost, I'd say get as many real MBE questions as possible and practice with that. The lengths are not as long as barbri and pmbr practice questions, and they provide a more realistic idea of what you'll see on the actual exam (not to mention they are actually harder than both barbri and pmbr). Get Walton & Emanuel's "Strategies & Tactics for the MBE" if only for the real questions from past exams, and barbri's "Drills & Released Questions" for the real questions in that book, if you use nothing else (in terms of practice questions) to prepare for the MBE. Just don't use this book, or else you might end up learning incorrect principles or screwing up your memory. The same probably goes for the blue pmbr workbook and the early bird workbook, too. As I suggested, though, their flashcards and mbe audio cds are great.
