So, I’ve had this computer now for about 2 weeks. It’s a refurb model, and that’s fine by me…Saved me a few bucks. So far, I’m SUPER happy with it, especially at this price point. I don’t need a top of the line gaming PC; that’s not my intended use. I decided to add an SSD card before I loaded any software. I installed the Crucial BX500 960GB 3D NAND SATA 2.5-Inch Internal SSD. I created a backup of the Windows OS on a USB drive first and then restored the OS to the SSD card. It was pretty easy. Do some searches and you’ll find what you need. It’s fairly easy.I use this computer for our photography business. I spend a LOT of time in Lightroom and Photoshop. This computer is heads and shoulders above my old computer in every aspect. Disclaimer: My previous computer was 7 years old, so my phone might be faster (Samsung Note 8). It had been on its’ last leg for a while, but it served me well through those years.Anyway, my Lightroom processing and image exports are blazingly fast. I can export an entire set of wedding images (Say, 600 or so) in just a few minutes (less than 5 minutes to be exact). On my old computer, I would start the export and then go mow the grass, feed the dogs, do laundry – you get the picture. Now, I wait just a few minutes and then begin uploading the exported wedding images to an online portfolio (Zenfolio, to be exact) and I’m DONE!Photpshop no longer crashes when I’m creating a composite with more than just a few layers. We’re expanding our offerings and we’re delving MUCH deeper into Photoshop, creating team banners that are 4 feet by 8 feet in size. That’s going to take some serious horsepower and computer resources. This computer handles it with ease.HP categorizes this as a gaming machine. On that, I have no comment. For my photo editing needs, it’s exceeding my expectations. Easy to recommend, even as a refurb model.

this unit was purchased in July but was not set up because of conditions out of my control. I am very aware that the Amazon warranty is over but just had to let others know...BUYER BEWARE....I finally got to set up and THE COMPUTER COMES ON BUT DOES NOTHING ELSE...monitor is set up properly and all else is as well but screens are black..just a light on the computer but doesn't work other than that. I know I am sol because of the time but I will never purchase from this company again nor will any of my other offices. I give it one star because it won't take the review if I don't

This plays games no issues it is a great system very very quiet you do not even know it is running. i am so in love.Very easy to plug in and start and easier still to update everything. a little bloatware but easy to remove if you do not want it and its not as bad as some.I am so Happy my friend recommended this system after she got hers and was happy with hers.

This pc runs so hot i am afraid for the components so I only used it 6 times and for about 1 hour each. Thinking of asking geek squad to install a new heat sink and fan system maybe gel cooled or something.. it does play my fav steam games without proble. Unless you count the excessive heat and threat by way of melt down a problem.

Had this computer for about a year and it worked fine but started running very hot. The case isn’t designed to the proper airflow the components inside need to work properly. Eventually I got a new motherboard and case and swapped everything over to that. If you’re looking to get your foot in the door with PC gaming - by all means. Just keep an eye on temps and start saving to get out of that case.

Multithreadded processor with 16gb of ram works great for photo and video editing. The desktop housing allows for one more hard drive, so I have no worries of running out of storage. Delivery and customer service were 5/5 as well.

Setting up desktop is a work in progress. So far, so good! Desktop is in excellent condition!

I gave this as a gift to my mom cause she is a avid gamer and she absolutely loves it. It runs very smooth she loves the size and weight and the fact that it is very quiet
