Work great
Purchased these to help keep my back axel from slipping, which had made my bike un-rideable. These have done the job and I just had my first ride in quite some time. They do not fit perfectly (I used on a Specialized Langster Tokyo), but with some maneuvering, I was able to get them in place and they seem to stay on just fine. Definitely a price than the name brand that is $35 for one.

Awesome
Bought these for a friend. As you can see they work on this type of frame. I hope this helps everyone. Thank you origin8. Love your products. Awesome

Perfect for me weird configuration
I have to use washers on the inside of my frame because I'm running a custom configuration. These are the 3rd set of tensioners I've tried and are perfect.

Only fit from inside of frame
These worked well. I'm a bit disappointed they didn't seem to line up properly from the outside so I had to put them between the wheel and frame. These are pretty thick, so I had to mess with my wheels spacers and it's still a bit of a tight fit.

There nice but had issues
These are nice but I ran into issues. The biggest one being the design the piece that sits on the dropout where you tighten it down has to much of an opening and sits very strange on there pulling the built one way and the back piece the other way when you have pressure on it. Also, I had to modify the piece the rides in the dropout as the piece that goes in front of the axle takes up entirely to much space rendering it useless. They may work for others but not my bike.

Very Well Machined! Fantastic Product! How Did I Live Without It?
I've been riding a fixed gear bike (no free wheel cog) for 7 years. I just finished installing this product on my Langster London edition Specialized bike. Wow! These chain tensioners are hands down great quality! I can not believe I went this long with out this product. I build cars and design 3D cad files for a living, and these are very well machined. This product completely takes all the pressure off the rear axle. I no longer have to tighten one side of the axle and then pull the other side tight while trying to torque down the nut. I have broken 2 axles in the past 7 years tightening the rear wheel in this maner, now that I have found this product, I can, with full confidence say that I will never break another axle. The tensioners come with hardened nuts and washers, very strong, the nut for adjusting tension is a 10mm. The shaft, nut and small washer are stainless steel. The tension nut is a lock nut so no worry about it coming loose. These tensioners allow you to get the proper chain tension and precisely align your rear wheel straight. This is crucial for high speed cycling (33 - 40 mph) no more worrying about getting a high speed wobble because the rear wheel is slightly off center. Now to explain my 4 star rating:I run a 53 tooth crank gear and a 16 tooth gear on the rear hub. Meaning I have very little play in my chain. Which in turn means that when installing the tensioner I have to have the axle in the full forward position. Almost all horizontal drop outs are rounded to fit the shape of the axle maximizing the distance you have for chain tightening. The Rockwerks tensioners have a near squared front insert. So when installing I could not get my axle in the forward most position. However being a mechanical person this was an extremely easy fix. Here is how to fix it. Grab your medium to fine metal file and file the front part of the insert round. It might sound difficult but any person can do this. The medium to fine metal file is about $5 at Home Depot or Lowes. The reason anyone even my 4 year old son can do this to the insert is the insert is aluminum. When it comes to metal filing aluminum is like butter. It took 5 swipes to the top and bottom of the insert with a little rounding action as you push the file forward and voila, you have a rounded front end insert. Just remember that Files only work in the push direction, so no back and forth like sand paper. Now you have a great product and the begining of an awesome tool collection.

Worked perfect
I recommend this strongly for a bike with a track fork, fixie bike, single speed bike. My bike is a Kent fixie 700x from Walmart with a 2 stroke engine on it. So much easier to get the wheel pulled back. A must have for your bike
