Anybody tryed cubing boiled potatoes for potato salad or hard boiled eggs for egg salad?

I’ve only used it with raw potatoes, but I’m sure it would work great with boiled potatoes as long as they are still a little firm and not mushy. I don’t think it would work well with boiled eggs. The yolk would just smash.
