500A Welding Ground Clamp Electroplated Copper Earth Clip for Manual Welders

Wasn't sure how well it would hold up but turns out quite well... The clamp has a tight grip but not rediculous to squeeze. The metal is strong enough to not bend or tweek. I soldered my cable to the ring it comes with for better contact. Overall pretty happy. The added braided ground wire to make sure both sides of clamp ground well is of thin braids so if they get exposed to hot weld material it melts a bit but ive had many clamps have that issue, just not as much. Overall good clamp tho

Cheap and does the job

I bought this to replace the original one on my Harbor Freight 90A MIG welder. This is a HUGE upgrade. It’s very sturdy, strong clamp with great contact area. I was skeptical based on some reviews, but it is way better than I was expecting.

Look around Amazon before purchasing as its sold by several brands from around $15 dollars to just over $8. The clamp is better than the cheap clamp that came with my plasma cutter but not by much. It's a !ittle bigger offering a bit more surface contact but I feel that the spring should be stronger for better clamping pressure. The clamp is made strong enough but I doubt it can handle 500 amps for very long. I'll be using lower amps so this is not a concern. The clamp should be good for lower power welders and cutters. If the spring was better I would have given it another star, but its a decent clamp, not the best, not the worst.

I have added it to my welder very well put together looks like it will hold up for a long time worked very easily

I put this on my Millermatic 211 and it works fine. The one that came with the welder burnt up, so this one replaces it fine.
