Purchased 4, all great bags
I just purchased 4 Timi and Leslie diaper bags because I couldn't decide which one I would like. I will be taking advantage of Amazon Prime's free returns to send back all but one. Actually, I love them all, but here's how I chose my winner. (honestly, I could have used any of them and loved it, so don't be too turned off by my cons). Happy Mother's Day to me :)Dawn: Loved it. pros- neutral taupe color is great. love the slim shape and style, fits nicely on my shoulder. Just based on look and fit, I think this would be my favorite con- no outside pocket. (note- they all have a zipper pocket in the back, but this doesn't have a place for me to throw my keys and phone on the outside where I can grab them easily. Not a huge deal probably, but important to me.Rachel- maybe my least favorite, but still a great bag pros- nice neutral taupe color, nice small outside pockets to get to things easily (though you do have to zip them. even the little pockets on the outside with the clasp thing could be used for a phone or something small). Maybe the most room without taking up a lot of space. (Jessica is roomy, but seems bulkier) cons- it's kind of tall so a little harder to get to the bottom of it, and the shoulder straps are pretty short so you almost would have to use the messenger strap to wear it comfortably and be able to dig for things inside it. The way the main zipper zips around the edge seems a little cumbersome.Jessica- a nice big bag pros- lots s great outside pockets to stash things, they are pretty roomy actually. Nice neutral taupe color. Wears ok with shoulder straps, nicely with messenger strap. Pretty wide, so lots of storage cons- it's pretty wide, so it almost seemed like a suitcase. It's probably better in the messenger strap position, but then the other straps are hanging down all the time. I might accumulate trash in all of the outside pockets, there is so much space there.Marilyn II- The winner. pros- a few outside pockets that are just under a flap, so still easy to get to, but less likely to lose stuff. There is an extra outside pocket under the flap I couldn't see in the picture- perfect for an ipad or small laptop. Wears nicely with the shoulder strap. The brown color is nice, I thought it might look too plasticy based on the picture, but not really. cons- Doesn't really work with the messenger strap (although I don't think I would want to use it anyway). I think I prefer the taupe color of the other bags, though this brown is nice, the taupe would be more versatile. My husband is nervous about me being able to return the extras, I will report back if there was a problem, but I don't expect there to be based on my experience with Amazon.**update- when my husband got home to give his opinion, he said the Brown Marilyn II bag was too "J. Lo" and plasticy looking, so I decided to go with the Jessica instead. Though I will miss the ipad/laptop pocket, I do prefer the neutral color and will be happy with all of the outside pockets and roomy inside.

LOVE my new timi & leslie diaper bag!!!
FTM here - looking forward to having this baby in a few weeks, but also looking forward to rockin' my new diaper bag! I haven't been working during this pregnancy, so I have been analyzing and over-analyzing every single product that we plan to use in our parenting. After decided to get just one gender-neutral bag for my husband and I to share, I was given a surprise shower and we received a really awesome dad-bag! It is perfect for my husband and just what we'll need for more adventurous excursions with baby.In the meantime, however, my husband convinced me to go ahead and splurge on a girlier bag for myself, since I will have primary care of the baby and carrying this bag around on a daily basis. After checking out bags in stores and online, I decided against childish patterns and colors (you know the ones I'm talking about!) and opted to look for something a little more mature while still functional and feminine.Which brings me to timi & leslie. Not all of the review on their bags are great. But the reviews on the Rachel bag were - so I decided to go for it. And with free returns on Amazon, how could I not give it a shot? I considered the red color but went with the taupe - it's still very rich and I think goes with more. The day I received the shipment, I immediately unpacked, prepped, and filled this baby up. I love a good shoulder bag, a good messenger bag, and a good designer bag - I basically keep a collection that fill those needs. But a diaper bag that fills all of them? AND will keep every single baby item I need organized and close at hand? Seriously - this bag does it all, and comes with every accessory you'll need to boot.Since I got this bag a few weeks ago, I've been using it as my regular large purse, opting for a smaller clutch when I don't need so much. Oh, and by the way? I still have 3 weeks to go before we actually use this as a "diaper" bag. timi & leslie - you have made me one happy mama-to-be!

Love the look, but not enough room!
I used this bag for 16 months with my daughter, and now that I have tested its capacities from newborn to toddler stage, I feel like I can objectively comment on the strengths and weaknesses of this bag.PROS:-This bag doesn't look like a diaper bag.-The color matches with everything, and I have gotten tons of compliments on the look of the bag.-There is a used diaper baggie which is really helpful.-The changing mat has a pocket on the back. Very functional.-There are four small pockets in front (two zippered, two latched) for little items. I mostly used these for mommy items, so it was nice to know where my phone and keys were.-I had no issues with this bag when my daughter was a newborn, and didn't need that much stuff.CONS:-By the time my daughter was 8 months old and I needed to carry around sippy cups, food, bibs, and more toy options, the bag was stuffed to the gills.-The bag has one main compartment and is much deeper than it is wide, which necessitates a lot of rummaging.-I didn't ever use the matching wristlet that comes with the bag.-The pleather is a little cheap looking.-The bag comes with an insulated bottle bag which is nice; however, the bottle slots on the sides of the bag are not quite big enough to comfortably hold a filed bottle bag! I spent a lot of time trying to squeeze the bag down in the pocket.-The back zippered section can't really hold anything but paper or an e-reader.I finally gave up the bag two weeks ago and got a Skip Hop Grand Central (which is quite large in comparison, but relatively light, and really makes outings much easier).
