Tall where it counts
I was having trouble getting any height on my drives until I took a golf lesson. The PGA Pro recommended that I tee the ball up more to catch it on the upswing more. That solved my problem but I wasn't consistent when sticking the longer tees in ground leaving the ball at the same height each time. I started using 3 1/4" step down tees but discovered that their above ground shafts were not tall enough until I purchased this brand. The distance is 1 7/8" above the ground which is exactly what I needed. If you are in need of a 3 1/4" tee that gives you the maximum ball height, this is the only brand I have found that gives you that. For those that need it, highly recommended.

Good Quality
Great length and durable for a wooden tee. Not sure why some of the reviews said that they break after every swing. Obviously someone doesn’t know how to swing their driver very well. You are supposed to hit the ball not the tee.😉They are fine.

It's probably the nature of the design but, as we expected and as others have noted, these tees tend to break fairly easily. Wiggling them a bit as you set them into the ground does help reduce the breakage as another user recommended. We can also add that quite often the break leaves a small amount of the thinner bottom section still connected to the top. If that happens, and if you're careful, the tee can continue to be used with that small piece connected. If you want a step tee that will really last, you probably need a metal one or one that is made of heavy plastic. Fortunately, you get 100 of them with this deal so it should take a while to get through the whole pack.

Rarely lasts more than one drive. At least you get 100 of them.

For me, it’s the perfect height
Each golfer is different but I found for me the height provides a consistency that helps with my drives.

good stock
The tees are a great quality, have gotten some in stores that broke on every drive. The only problem is now i am hitting better off the slightly shorter ones. But have plenty to pass out to friends!
