I bought this product twice for 2 separate homes. Both times the product arrived in perfect condition. No dents or scratches as were noted in some other reviews.This trash can comes in stainless exterior with a removable black, plastic interior. The removable can is where you place your trash bag. The removable can must be removed to release & replace the trash bag which I find inconvenient but the pro to that is the trash bag edge is hidden from view.The foot pedal at the bottom of the trash can is how one lifts the lid. The pedal works very well & the lid lifts completely every time. No need to touch it but if you did, the stainless trash can comes with a fingerprint resistant coating which shows very little finger prints & those that do show, wipe away with simply water on a paper towel. Don't use anything abrasive as it will scratch the surface. This product is in an adult only home & though we do use it regularly, we are gentle with it. If children are going to use this product, it may be a good idea to show them how then have them use it a couple times to demonstrate they know how to use it gently & not stomp on the pedal. Some reviews have mentioned the pedal broke but also mentioned their young child who couldn't weigh enough, managed to break it. The blame was placed on the product & not on the mistreatment of the product.Most things used gently will last but inevitably, most things do wear out over time. Nothing lasts forever but treated right, things can last longer. This was a great purchase & matches stainless appliances. The shape of this trash can sits nicely close to the wall & works perfectly with 13 gallon white Glad trash bags. There is an insert offer with the trash can to get 3 free trash bags. I signed up & they came pretty quickly for free. They were very heavy duty, like the black Glad trash bags. Though they were very good, maybe too good for simple kitchen/daily trash so I decided not to buy them, but I thought the freebie was a nice added touch. I haven't received any spam or further communication from the brand after signing up for the free trash bags which is great.There is an air filter included which could be replaced periodically. I have yet to notice I ever needed one as I don't tend to place terribly scented items in the indoor trash. I take them outside right away to avoid bad smells. I may or may not keep up on that replacement but do like the idea that it could potentially cut down on unwanted scents.Overall, I'm very pleased with this purchase & would definitely recommend to others. 5-star for sturdiness, as it is a quality piece. 4-star for easy to clean because though the user can easily wipe down the exterior, if one needed to clean the inside, they must remove the inner, black can which is inconvenient. 5-star for value for money because the product really is an attractive piece, cleans up nicely on the outside, & all parts seem to made with quality parts. I think it's a little over priced for a trash can but look around at what you want & qualities it has then compare prices. This one really checked the boxes on everything I was looking for & came with the best price I could find anywhere. There are cheaper trash cans but do they fit all your needs & are they made with high quality parts? I chose to make this an investment piece vs a disposable piece.

We love the slow closure, stainless steel, modern design, double feature of recycling and regular trash in one container. In addition to the compact, trim line design. It looks great on our lanai next to the wet bar where it matches the undercounter stainless refrigerator.

UPDATE: Still enjoying the pretty trash can, but the lid scratches very easily and the plastic inside bin still has a pretty strong chemical smell. Holding up very well otherwise.I purchased this kitchen trash can in the cream white. It matches my cabinets and looks great in my kitchen. It arrived quickly in a sturdy box with lots of supportive packaging, so no dents or dings. It's a full-size kitchen trash can and very well constructed. Inside separate compartment of trash can lifts out completely. Fingerprints do not show at all on the lid or outside of can. I'm excited to have a pretty trash can that doesn't look 'trashy' in my kitchen.

Very nice trash can, I bought this to replace the battery powered one that I had that when the lid was broken. This one is clean looking and no more batteries to be replaced.

Love this garbage can! Still gets finger prints on it but easily cleaned, lid closes without issue ever and the removable can liner allows for hidden bag inside. The liner is great so we can transport the bag without the risk of ripping it before we can place it for disposal. Definitely recommend!

The product arrived nicely packaged to prevent any dents during shipping. It perfectly fits in my kitchen. Trash bag liners are easy to replace and nicely hidden by the inner can. Love the charcoal filter idea, my garbage never smells. I love it!
