It provides an excellent addition to any LHP library, along with his other titles. For the earnest beginner, or a seasoned seeker, this liturgical text is an elegant center of gravity, dense in doctrinal darkness, to anchor one's further foray into satanic ritual, doctrine, magic and meditation. Magus Nacht's language is crisp and concise, intelligently intuitive, and presents a distinct position within the spectrum of left-hand path spirituality, that is, theistic Satanism. Unlike the symbolic and philosophical Satanism of The Satanic Bible (by Anton Szandor LaVey), which synthesized various strands of thought, such as Ayn Rand's "Objectivism" and secular humanism, to form the core doctrine of the Church of Satan, Aleister Nacht's "Book of Satanic Ritual" is a tract concerning theistic or spiritual Satanism and its Rites, herein described for their effective administration and symbolic significance. This is "true" Satanism: a spiritual orientation and religious point of view the central doctrine of which is the recognition of the very deity of Satan (Lucifer, Prince of Darkness and Lord of this World). Included is a registry of necessary accoutrement for the proper ritual service, as well as a calendar of the Satanic feast days and holidays upon which rituals held yield the most spiritual power.

Well written and very informative of how to go about practicing your own ritual. I wouldn't recommend it to the beginner. This was the first book that I read by aleister nacht and I did not know enough about satanism to really get started on my own work. I would suggest you read sanctum of shadows first to really get a feel for satanic magic if you are bran new to the dark arts.

I only recommend this book to those who are truly certain on the choice of the curse on the dark side but I highly recommend if you choose to live on the other side of god

A companion to the book of Satanic Magic, by the same author, a must have for those following the left hand path, full of informative Satanic ritual workings, details of invocations to Satan, a modern updating of Satanism & true inspiration to all , add this to your collection, & use it for your workings, the author is approachable, & he inspired myself to get the book of Satanic Magic and this title the book of Satanic Ritual, very well written, thank you

The overall concept​ of this book is great. But the editing is horrible! In the areas of the ritual where your supposed to speak as the priest, everything isjustrantogether ( that's an example.) It makes it imposable to understand. Unless you want to take the time to break it down?

I was excited to get this and wanted it to be a good read. It was hard to read the kindle version (can’t comment on the paperback version) as no spaces between words for the rituals. The rituals weren’t always complete and he’d go on from talking about one thing, on to the next back on to the other. He mainly spoke of sex and orgies. I did like some uplifting things he said about women so that’s why I have given it a 3 star otherwise it would of been a 1.

interesting read but in print the spelling is very bad and makes reading frustrating. despite this it is similar in content to other books by author
