Lavilin Under Arm Deodorant Cream

Lavilin Cream Body Deodorant is the latest generation product from this company. The original Underarm Deodorant that I used for decades was terrific; one application (of a quantity larger than recommended) was effective for two weeks. I read on the internet that recently the founder of the company retired and turned the company over to the next generation. My guess is that this next generation wanted to make more money from the product, so first they tried producing it more cheaply by decreasing the amount of effective herbal ingredients. I tried this second version and it was not effective for even one day. I complained bitterly to the company. I received a complimentary sample of this new formula named Cream Body Deodorant. It is very easy to use, more creamy, less stiff than the original product, and it was effective for one week. So I gather they have increased the amount of effective ingredients, though still not to the amounts used in the original product. In desperation, before Cream Body Deodorant came available on line, I have been using Lavilin Foot Deodorant for underarm and it is effective for one week, has not been irritating. The Foot Deodorant is not as creamy and easy to use as the Cream Body Deodorant but it costs significantly less. My guess is that they may phase the foot deodorant out. I am happy again with this newest product, the Cream Body Deodorant, although I would gladly have paid more for the original product since it was effective for twice as long.

I’m not a smelly person, except for when wearing this. I read how it prevented BO for up to 5 days. WRONG!!! I showered before bed, rewashed my pits in the morning & applied as directed. Sitting at work 4 hours later I realized I had terrible BO, without sweating a drop. I had to dab on rubbing alcohol to kill the stench because it was all I had at my desk. (Yes, I have a desk job in an air conditioned building.) I thought ok, maybe I need a couple applications, so I tried again the next morning. OMG! Again by 11:00am I couldn’t believe the smell coming from my armpits. Rather than become known as the lady with the terrible BO, I will NEVER use this product again. I have no idea how this stuff made me smell worse than washing & applying absolutely nothing to my armpits but it did, TWICE. Save your money!

I've been using Lavilin for a number of years now, I wanted something that I wouldn't be breathing like a deodorant spray. I didn't want an anti-perspirant because I am suspicious of blocking natural body functions, and I didn't like the chemicals in most deodorants. So I found this cream, and it's really good. It was developed in Israel, so I figured it might be pretty good if it works in the Mideast and it is. You only need to use it every few days and you won't smell to high heaven. The canister lasts for a long time because you only need a little bit. I also recommend it for camping or travel of other kind as the container is very compact, but do put it into a small plastic bag in case the container might twist open during travel.

This stuff works. Period. I'm 54 and work in the desert wilderness as a guide on 2 week trips. With anything else, I smell after a day or two at most. This stuff lasts a full 6 to 7 days. It seems to be mostly zinc and herbs, but whatever it is, I don't have to bathe in 45 degree water every day! The only problem is that the packaging sucks, and falls apart or breaks easily. Put it in a zippie and love it!

My husband had the worst b.o. until I got this deoderant. He puts it on and does not smell at all even though he sweats really bad all day. Awesome product. If you know any one with b.o. give them this as a gift. It's a miracle.

It is great to not smell my husbands feet as I walk through the door after work each day. No need to use those messy powders either. I have reccommended to whoever I hear has anyone with smelly feet!

I seem to have an allergy to most deodorants. However, my body seems to tolerate this just fine. Hey, I value the extra five seconds I have every day since this gets used just once a week!

It didn't work for me. I didn't feel fresh at all, a little stinky. I was bummed. I really wanted it to work for me.
