HP A637 Compact Photo Printer

The HP 637 is a good Photosmart printer. However it is not clear that after software installation (which is stored in the printer itself) you have to disable the installation mode and enable the printer mode otherwise it won't print and continues trying to install the drivers. I could find no reference to this in the installation guide only on the Internet (hence 4 stars). Quality of 4 x 6 or 5 x 7 prints is excellent. Uses a single ink cartridge which lasts for about 25 to 30 prints. The color touch screen etc. is very intuitive and provides plenty of flexibility. I also bought the optional re-chargeable battery so can use on trips - does not need a PC. Works well with Windows 7.

Love this little printer!!! Works great for my needs, and the different edits, frames, text, and other options are a great bonus!

Received this HP Photosmart A637 snapshot printer as a gift in 2009. Although I was initially pleased with the performance and ease of use, the printer suddenly stopped working and would no longer print photos. HP customer service was contacted and, because the warranty had expired, was not helpful or able to offer any repair solutions, other than to state "..this is why we sell extended product warranties..". The printer was carefully used and maintained, never dropped or mishandled and should have lasted much longer before failing.I would not recommend purchasing this or any product that has such a short product life and lack of reasonable customer support.

We have an HP PHOTOSMART PHOTO PRINTER in our current office and needed another one for a second office that we just opened. Love the one that we have and it gets a definite workout.

Great small photo printer. It's perfect for a quick print of all my photos on the card.It's fast, clear & creative.

This printer is a great product. Makes printing photos at home easy and convenient. Print quality is great and cartridges are simple to replace. Compact and takes up little space. Well worth the money.
