Works well enough, but not easy to wall mount
This product works well enough. I am about 40 miles north of Atlanta, and get 40+ digital channels with this. In fact, I was surprised at how many junk channels there are (QVC, HSN, etc.). Good for cord cutters.Pros: + Inexpensive + When tuned, the picture quality of most digital channels in HD Broadcast is noticeably better than Comcast's highly-compressed crap + Fairly small, can be hidden behind a large TV + Comes with all the parts & cables you need +++ Amplifier is powered by USB. This is really a differentiating feature -- I plugged it into the USB port on the TV, and it works fine. No need to mess around with extra power cords. This is actually pretty important if you're trying to put the thing up on the wall behind your big TV, and don't want to mess with adding outlets or power strips.Cons: - Somewhat sensitive, at my range -- takes a little playing around to get the stations to tune completely smoothly. Some occasional glitching, although I expect to get rid of that with a more accurate mounting setup. - Not easy to wall mount: the coax enters the back of the unit at a 90-degree angle. Which means you have to have the thing stand off from the wall at least 2 inches, as the coax just won't bend that tightly against the wall (at least without kinking and signal impedance). I will probably fashion a bracket with adjustable angles, to carefully set the antenna's aimpoint. Not that big of a deal. - The red light on it doesn't work. In some of the Monster product brochure photos, it's clearly illuminated. Mine doesn't, but the power light is lit on the separate amp. So I assume it's working correctly, but I'm not quite sure if the red indicator on the main antenna is supposed to mean something. Too bad the product materials suck... - The product materials suck. It's only 2 pages, and basically tells you to plug it in. There is no configuration, no detail around what the low/high switch on the amp does, and no detail about the sensitivity lobes or width of the antenna for aiming purposes. But hey, it was cheap and it seems to work. At this price point (two Hamiltons), I'm not complaining.

Awesome! I'm picking up over 160 channels now
Awesome! I'm picking up over 160 channels now. It's power by USB, so if your TV has USB port, you won't need another power brick that stays on all the time. (This unit will not include power brick). I paid $19 at local super computer store on sale...
