Ideal to cut clothing, jeans and t-shirts to get a clear view of the wound, this is a mustA bit hard to find replacement blades but not impossible. Nice pouch even do I didn’t use it it was on my ifak kit

Used it for the first two years I was in the USMC amazing product, great feel and good dexterity, easily accessible but only complaint is that ive seen a couple break in between the two screws that hold the blade down.

The body of it or the handle as some would say is made of what looks to be a durable ABS plastic type material. Which is fine by me for the specified, limited uses this has and that also helps cut down on weight. The pouch is made of nice cordura sort of material with molle attachment backing.

Purchased these strap cutters for swift water work and tech diving. Great design with a full handle and finger groves, only bad side is getting replacement blades......very difficult to find. If you buy this cutter, it will do great, just hard to find replacement blades.

Turned it into CIF and they had no idea it wasn’t actually there’s.

I luckily have not had to use it, but it looks like it's well built. I am using it in SCUBA BC as an emergency line cutter in case I get wrapped up in excess line.

I always carried trauma shears until one day the suckers didn't cut for anything. Medic with me whipped one of these out and cuts clothes off like a hot knife through butter in one swoop. Got me a pair immediately after that. Seem to hold up well against corrosion from blood.
