I use one under rugs on the hardwood floor and one under the rug in the mudroom. they stick to the floor well. I periodically lift them up to make sure they aren't melding with the hardwood too much. so far no problem. they seem to hold the rugs in place well. We've had them approx 5 months with traffic of a dog and 6 adults. Easily trimmed to fit your rugs, just use something similar to a fishers scissors. They are moderately expensive, but function does support the price, so far. I have 5x7 rugs and 2 long runners with this type of pad under all of them.

Exactly what I needed to keep my recently purchased woven throw rug in place on my hardwood flooring! The rug is not a normal size so I ordered the closest to the dimensions and simply cut off the excess with scissors. Also adds a bit of cushion so my pups appreciate that! So far, no complaints at all!

Placed under a 4x6 area rug in a bedroom with hardwood floors. Made my rug feel amazing, love the cushion it provides and the rug is in place well- no slipping! I can’t say long term but the material seems safe for the hardwood- I don’t foresee it leaving any residue or damage. I plan to buy 2 more for my other rooms with area rugs!!

Perfect thickness for households with a fairly low door sweep. Door does not get stuck on the rug and pad, bunching up.

Great quality, you can tell the materials are higher quality. Reasonably priced and love that it is made in America. Overall a great buy, will use this seller again as needs arise.
