Polished Brass Three Roll Toilet Tissue Cylinder with Lid

This is my second set of Taymor Polished Brass bathroom accessories. I had the first ones about 20 years and the brass had developed some unsightly dings. I searched and searched for a replacement but found nothing I liked as much so just bought a new set of Taymor.

Very disappointed in product. There were dents and scratches on this particular item, the material is poor and not well put together. Have not used the item and did not open the box when I received it- have not looked at the other items yet - plan on returning everything.

A lot of the reviews for this said they didn't get the pull up rod in theirs. We ordered three of these and all three came with the pull up rod. Our only complaint is that so many of the current toilet paper holders on the market fit the standard size toilet paper roll like this one does. So many of the toilet paper rolls come extra big now so you need to find standard size rolls to fit.

Found this item to replace a 15 year old comparable tissue cylinder that was showing its wear. The first cylinder arrived without the pull-up rod and without the cover. Sent it back for a refund. Reordered. Second came in with all the parts but the cover did not fit. The top of the cylinder is supposed to be a circular shape but was slightly out of shape, so the cover would not fit. I made an attempt to correct the issue by placing pressure on the cylinder. Was able to restore the top of the cylinder to a point that the cover fits, albeit not perfectly.As other reviews have pointed out, there are serious quality control issues with this Taymor product. I had expected a far better product for the money. If you can find a better quality product, I'd skip this one. I'd suggest that Amazon discontinue this product until Taymor strengthens its quality control.

The reason this tissue holder works is precisely the reason we needed one in the first place. Inflation has changed a tissue roll to laughable proportions, the spool is now 2 inches in diameter, with a mere few layers of tissue, keeping the outer diameter the same. Seems like every other day, I have to put on a new roll...Well, I suppose this is the future. A future where, even if you want something of good quality and are willing to pay for it, you can't. For us nine people on the planet who still appreciate a nicely brass finished decor it's even worse. You know who you are; you are the one that can tell solid polished brass from brass plated steel/zinc from 50 feet away. Baldwin brass, this ain't.For your consideration, you'll receive a beat-up, poorly finished collection of metal bits apathetically tossed into a box by some 3rd world wage-slave half way around the globe. If you're lucky (as I was) you'll even get all the parts you are supposed to, such as the pull up rod. It fits 3 standard sized tissue rolls and has piercings at the top and bottom to indicate it's level of supply.It will sit next to the toilet not only because that is where it is needed, but that's where it deserves to be placed.

Very nice product. Bought this as a gift for my mom and she loves it. She has actually been trying to find two additional ones in stores in silver but hasn't found any as nice as this one. Well made and very pretty.

Like others, I experienced the same issue with the extractor rod missing. I returned the first item and requested a replacement item. Lo and behold second canister was also missing the extractor rod. I canceled my order and returned the second item.

It works fine however I think the metal is a bit thinner than I expected. The finish is a bit rippled looking on the lid, again I suppose the thinness of the metal. When you take off the lid and lift the toilet paper extractor the whole canister lifts up.
