Amazing Game
We played this game last night with 6 people aged 16 - 54. We had brought in some pizza and settled in to play this game for our family game night. We read the rules - which were not really that complicated. You just need to play a "play" round or two before you start. However, once started, it gets crazy. We literally went to bed at 2:00 AM. What makes this game awesome is the questions. You see, they are based on the famous, best-selling books by David Feldman. He has over 4 million in print and has been writing them for over 20 years. (They go under the IMPONDERABLE series.) Also, note that this game is new packaging to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the original Malarky game - also for sale here at Amazon. In any case, there are questions like: "Why do pirates wear earrings?", "Why do dogs smell funny when they get wet?", "Why are barns painted red?", "Why are tennis balls fuzzy?". Well, Feldman has researched these answers and believe me - no one knows the real answers. At least no one did in my family. The goal is to get people to vote for your answer - whether it be a made up answer or the real one. The players simply explain their answer to the group. There is no writing like there is in Balderdash. That is what makes this so much better than Balderdash. Much better. It is fast, the questions are better and hearing people make up answers that they have no idea what they are saying is just funny. Real funny. That is why I give this game 5 stars. 5 solid stars. You won't be disappointed. From Robert - a long time family game player. I hope you enjoy this game.

Fun, once game play strategy and rules are mastered.
We had a group play ages ranging from 8-adult. We found the rules to this game are not that simple. The objective is clear: bluffing your way to victory, but the chips, shuffling concealing folders, forced Malarky's, etc. make learning the play a bit annoying. If you stick with it, read and re-read the instructions, it can be quite comical once the game actually gets underway. A good game to have on hand if you have a game playing family and already have a good supply of games. If game night is very infrequent (and therefore you want it to go over well) then I would not recommend this as the evenings game - not as much fun as Apples to Apples or Scategories etc.

Unsatisfactory Answers, Cheaply Made
I recommend getting Malarkey - The Imponderables Bluffing Game over this version (The Game of Believable Answers version). I own both, and I had hoped that this version would add new questions to the original game that I have.1) This version feels much more cheaply made than the Imponderables version: The flimsy cards feel only one step up away from printed paper, which is different from the heavier cardstock of the Imponderables version—these cards feel like they're at risk of getting bent as they're placed back in the draw/discard box. The tokens are smaller and thinner and generally just feel more breakable and insubstantial.2) Most disappointingly, the "correct" answers provided on the backs of cards are really unsatisfactory. I flipped through several of them, and at least 1 answer on each card was a kind of "just because" answer—no clever or interesting trivia revealed. The questions are great, but the answers don't seem as detailed or informative as in the other version.

This is a really great game to play with friends or on family game night. Each time I play this game there is always a lot of laughter. Only downside is it does take a while to play and after a few rounds everyone is ready to quit. Otherwise I would highly recommend.

Bought for a middle schooler with Asperger's
I bought this for my middle schooler who has Asperger's to practice reading body language and determining fact from fiction. We play with only 3 people, which is manageable for him. Neuro-typicals would find a larger group more fun. This a fun exercise for those how have social-relatedness disorders, but it is also a fun game to play with a group of friends.

Many questions are too easy.
If you read a lot and listen to public radio, you might know the answers to a lot of the questions in this game. However, if you're under age 35 and/or you don't expose yourself to a lot of information, then this game could be really fun for you. And I don't mean this in a "put down" way at all. It's just that some of the questions are really too obvious for people of a certain age.

Watch my whip. Watch me nay nay.
I played this game oncd with a big group of friends and it was fantastic. So I decided to buy it for myself. I found its not as fun in smsll groups but still just as fun. Everything shipped on time, box was dented but everything was fine in the box. I would recommend this game for anybody who loves hours of laughs :D

It's okay
SKIPI needed to write a few words in this review so I wouldn't recommend reading the rest of the review because I'm just rambling on about rambling on and I'm using redundancy to the max. Okay, not to the max, but I used it!
