Definitely better than expected. A stick is a stick, but this is sanded, coated and has a leather hand strap. It feels great and it's lightweight, but super sturdy. It has a rubber cap on the bottom, and it just looks nice, but rustic. I added a Paracord wrap to the grab section which makes a perfect hand hold.I highly recommend!

I always cut my own staff, but there is nothing suitable on my property, and I wouldn't cut it on someone else's land. I always wanted a Hawthorne stick and I ran into it here. It is light, strong and beautifully done. Now I am happy that I didn't make one. Well done Brazos.

Overall I’m pleased with the quality of the hickory twisted 55 inch walking sticks I ordered as they are very sturdy and very cool looking. However because they shipped separately (I ordered at same time), a day apart and one of them is missing the rubber tip on the end I’m not very happy. Paying nearly $80 for both of them I expect better quality and service. They are wedding gifts I was planning to give soon. I wrote Brazos’ website requesting the rubber tip and am waiting to hear back. I saw the reviews that talked of missing rubber tips but figured they fixed the glitch. Apparently not. Would like to add more stars and correct my review if they get back to me. Stay tuned…It’s sometime later and I’m pleased with Brazos’ response. They sent me a replacement rubber tip already. Excellent customer service!

I needed two to help with stability while using my stairstep exercise machine. They are perfect. Although, a little annoying is the girth of them is different, so they have a different feel because one is skinnier than the other. They have a quality finish and are attractive.

I really like the shape, the weight is perfect! I used their guide as to how to decide on the length, for my height! It works! It’s a perfect length for me.I’m 5’2”, my stick is 48” ! Love it ❣️M

As I'm getting older, and I love walking this was the perfect purchase for myself. Brazos walking sticks and canes are beautiful quality and workmanship that will last the test of time. They have a bunch of different accessories that can be added to your walking stick, Compass, Thermostat etc. Unfortunately what you order off Amazon is not able to be customized. If you want these features an order through Brazos website is the way to go. You'll be able to had these accessories to your walking stick! Definitely recommend this product!

I bought the 55'' twisted hickory....it's beautiful. I carry it walking my dog, in case of coyotes or aggressive off leash dogs. I don't find it heavy for 45 min walks but everyone is different.

I really like Brazos walking sticks and this is not my first. They are solid and well finished (for the most part). I will make a note that the one I received had what looked like a cut 1/3 the way up from the bottom of the stick but I have some materials that I was able to use to make it look fine and keep it from getting worse.I don’t mind doing these kinds of things but for another person that might cause them grief or concern, just a little FYI.I know most of these sticks are way cheaper on Amazon than getting them from Brazos Web Site and I am guessing some of these might be factory blemishes but for the price they are still pretty good deals.I gave my stick 5 stars as it has some of my own touches on it and for me that makes it unique.

Great looking walking stick but it's missing the rubber tip. I specifically found this one more appealing since the rubber tip would prevent slipping. Box was intact so not sure if it wasn't put on or lost during packaging.
