You need good lungs to inflate it if you haven't got a pump!
17 June 2019The postman with the parcel and my daughter with my granddaughter arrived at the front door at the same moment so the playnest was quickly unboxed and (more slowly) inflated. There is a plastic ring which requires inflation before use. It is easier to do this outside of the sensory cover but still not overly easy to do since (on mine at least) the air valve was actually sealed closed when mine arrived.I needed to use a blunt pen end to break it free so I could start blowing the ring up.The instructions recommend how much you inflate it depending on the age of the child who will be using it. As my granddaughter is just around 3 months we inflated it so she was lying slightly flatter in it than you would do for 4 or 5 month old child.Once it was inflated we placed the ring inside the cover, put it on the floor and sat my granddaughter in it.It was an instant hit!She loved it as she can kick and push against the sides and, as she is a real wriggler of a baby it scored 10 out of 10 as far as we could see.It seems well made but I would ensure that you keep it away from pets as I don't think it would take too many claw attacks.A pump is a definite need unless you have really good lungs. At 67 with health problems it was not the best thing for my breathing! My granddaughter loved it though.I feel it is quite expensive for what it is and I don't know how long it will survive in daily use but it was a real hit here.

Great idea, but some basic flaws, and quite pricey
This is a great playnest in many ways - once inflated, the sides of the playnest allow lots of wriggling and movement, whilst keeping your baby safe. The Very Hungry Caterpillar decoration is appealing and tactile. However, there are significant, and quite basic flaws. The inflatable part of this is quite flimsy, and as we have two cats, one of which loves to scratch and eat things, we are already finding that we need to separate it from the cats. In addition, the base of the playnest isn't cushioned or inflatable, and I could see a baby hurting themselves on the base because they expect it to be bouncy, like the sides. Finally, it seems quite expensive for what it is.

Great for baby!
Good for sitting a baby in.It’s necessary to use a pump to blow it up in my opinion. The cover was a bit difficult to put on but it wasn’t too bad!It has lots of sensory things for the baby to touch and play with.Nice!
