ERP B5103 Range Bake Element

This was so easy to install. The last replacement only lasted a year and cost more so we will see.

My husband found an almost mint-condition oven range on the side of the road in a nice neighborhood. The homeowner was outside and said the only thing not working was the range bake element. Hubby ordered the part on Amazon, easily replaced the element, and it now works perfectly. We are putting it in a rental house and that will save us hundreds of dollars. Shipping was super-quick so he only had it sitting in the middle of the living room for a couple of days. The joys of being married to a high-tech red neck... lol.

I've tried (slightly) less-expensive replacement elements in the past. This one seems well made, and was indeed an "exact replacement" by all measures. We'll see how long it lasts. (The missus is particularly hard on the appliances - she should've done torture testing for the manufacturers!) My only quibble was the packaging - the element was shipped in bubble wrap that was somehow glued very snugly around the element. Which made for secure shipping, but it probably took me 10 minutes to get the packaging removed without damaging the merchandise.

The part arrived and worked as described. I could notice the difference between the original manufacturer part and this one. This replacement part seems a little more flimsy but it works and that is all that matters at this point. Instead of spending a few hundred $$ getting a repair man to come and service the oven I was able to quickly and easily fix replace the baking element myself. I would suggest giving this particular part a try if you know the baking element in your oven is busted/defective.

I own a fridgedair. I was nervous because numbers on back of mine r not whats listed here im a female/single n know nuthin about this stuff lol i have a glass top flat top white with black front stove. this fit n works it saved the day. And saved 500$ also 3 day ship. Only 4 cooks so far but its good.no burns n seems good on time with cooking things as usual. Ill update. Thank you. I thought i had to buy new stove :(Ty much again! Pleased.

Omg , I can use my oven againBest purchase ever for me because I went a whole year without my oven until I talk to a coworker who told me to go online to Amazon and find an element for your oven and it came in the mail I was praying it would fit my oven and when it did I made biscuits,cornbread,cookies and lasagna thanks amazon

heck of a lot cheaper than local stores, worked great. I'd give it 5 stars, but some idiot at the manufacturer's warehouse decided to attach the barcode sticker directly to the element. At least it burned off quickly, as I spent 10 minutes trying to remove said sticker, before giving it the old 'it'll solve itself'.
