The reason this item has a wide range of reviews on most sites is that they're most likely talking about two different products! There's the old version, which is good quality and will hold up. And then there's the version (new and improved no doubt) that is total garbage! When I received the first one I bought, it came in a tiny box. When I got it out and cut the plastic open, the mattress sprang out and popped open! No wrinkles or looking crushed at all! You lie down on it, and it's supportive and firm. No doubt is has some other high density foam mixed with the memory foam. It holds up! The new version I ordered arrived in the same sized box. But when I pulled it out, it was a shriveled mess and days later, is the same way. It doesn't spring out and look plush and firm like the original one. The covering is all sagging and wrinkled and it doesn't fill it out. When you lie on it, it goes right to the floor and you feel like there's nothing under you! Clearly, clearly, doesn't have that other high density foam in with it. It's basically worthless. You can accomplish that much support by throwing down some good blankets. So save your money unless they go back to the old style as this is a total waste of money. And good luck returning it! If you do, you'll have to go get a big box to ship it in, as you'll never compress it on your own, into that small box. You'll have to ship or mail back and drag to shipper. You'll pay return shipping costs. It simply is NOT the same product now as earlier versions! Buy at your own risk. The first two pics show the old version and how it fills out the material of the cover. It's thick and sturdy. The last photo shows the wrinkled, new version. When I wrote to Gran Rest and told them, they never even responded.
