Remarkably bright! Sleek and super simple to install
These little light fixtures are remarkably bright. If you understand that going in you won't be disappointed that they are not dimmable. I bought four of them (bright white, 4000K) for my daughter's college apartment. The existing fixtures were crappy little globes with yellow CFL bulbs making the apartment look dingy and depressing. I spent about 20 minutes mounting all four fixtures and the result was brilliant! One note: Don't trust the modular wiring devices included in the package. The wires pull loose with very little effort when you're pushing them back into the fixture box. I recommend using good old-fashioned wire nuts.

Sleek fantastic light
I just installed this light and it is great, especially considering it is a sub $20 purchase. The housing and shade are plastic, but the construction is sturdy. It comes with a nice installation kit (screws, box mounting bar, and covers for the bezel screws). The light has a great warm output that is evenly dispersed. I want to see now how reliable it will be over time, but I would buy again.

It's bright! It's inexpensive! It's plastic! It works!
It's a really cool, low profile design. I must have missed the specification that said it was completely plastic. It is VERY bright, so bright in fact that I put a warm white gel filter on it when I installed it in my hall. Glaringly bright without the filter, which would make it perfect in a larger space than a hallway.Use wire nuts, the wire connectors included are flimsy. I'm also not going to use the mounting bar for the next installation, just going to screw it directly to the ceiling using the anchors provided.I have never owned a fixture that has the brand name stamped on it, visible to the occupants: Youtob! Then again, I've never purchased a disposable light fixture.

Flat and Bright
Like I said, it is flat and very bright. The finish is very decent, looks very nice, matte silver, aluminum color.the light fills the entire circle, no shadow spots. It's bright enough that it's difficult to look at it directly. Its easy enough to install. Screw covers do a good job to give the face a clean finish. It is a flat downlight, so the width of the light spread is a bit narrower. Mine is on a lower ceiling, 7ft, so there are some dark spots in the upper corners of the walls. I'm not a fan of integrated LED light fixtures as often they're not as bright, and can't make it brighter by simply replacing a bulb. This is in an area that's not occupied much, but gives plenty, satisfying light for that space. 1 star knocked off because, when the light is cold or not used for a while, when you flip on the switch, it takes a half second for the light to come one. But at least it's been working confidently for 2 months. We'll see how long it lasts.

Stylish
Great ceiling light. Very low profile and simple to install. See photo for package contents. It was an easy swap from the old incandescent bulb fixture I had in my closet previously. This fixture provides more light than I had before and a much cleaner look.

Great product -- Easy to installl
I want to address two things in this review. 1) many people have asked about UL certification. This product does not show any indication that it has been certified by the Underwriter's Laboratories. However, the product has been certified for use in the European Union and it does comply with the FCC. Certification in the United States, where I live, is voluntary but is not in the EU. Would it benefit the company to have it tested? Certainly, but the CE certification does indicate that it has been tested for safety. 2) some have stated their skill level to be high and have complained about the installation being difficult. I assure you that it took less than 10 minutes to remove the old light and install this one. It was as simple as installing any other ceiling fixture. The directions are clear and concise.I would recommend this product. It is bright, warm in color and exactly what I needed for my kid's room.

Frustrating Install.
I'm used to light fixtures being a PITA to install. It goes with the territory. This, however, is one of those special ones that take frustration to a new level. No, I'm not a noob who doesn't know which end of a hammer to use either. This light is special.Problem one - the drawings are on post-it note size paper. Now, I don't need instructions to install a light, but when they include a special bracket it helps to know which way is up. Literally, since it's a channel and you need to know if the open side faces up or down as the screws are tiny and if things aren't lined up they aren't gonna work.I have no idea if I got it right because by the time it came to screw the light to the bracket I was done...so I tried once and then used drywall screws that grabbed the bracket and the ceiling. Proper? Nope. But the thing weighs nothing so I'm pretty sure used gum would hold it up.Now, the really frustrating part. I wasn't aware that they could make copper wire so cheap and flimsy. Again..I'm not a rookie and don't expect high-quality wire or hardware. I rarely use screws that come with things anymore because they just strip. So I have pretty realistic expectations. So, the wire is crap. Super thin and frays to look at it. Good luck twisting it up so you can make a nice connection. They include these silly snap clip wire connectors that probably work with a piece of wire just like what's attached to the light. But here in the states we typically use Romex for house wiring, and ceiling boxes often will have multiple wires joined as part of a circuit, so there's no way in hell the stupid little clip will do the job. No worries, I have plenty of wire nuts like anybody who has ever tried using the crap that comes things you buy today. All well and good IF the wire attached to the light is even remotely decent.I went to strip back some more of the wires (why do only leave like 3/8th of an inch? Have they never seen Romex?) and that's when I discovered they soldered the ends of the wires for me...nice touch if you could use the clips, but in the real world it meant losing a 1/4 inch of already marginally long enough wire. Stripping the wire resulted in broken strands, tangled strands....knotted up mess. Try to join that with Romex in a wire nut. Or better yet 3 strands already joined and you need to tie this crap in...Long story short...it took me over an hour, plenty of words normally reserved for plumbing projects, and a whole of frustration dealing with crap wire and not well thought out install design. I'd say the wire is baby hair fine, but the softest baby hair has more to it than these strands.Anyway...not bad now that it's up, but if it has to come down it goes right in the trash.
