Boston Acoustics Voyager 50 Black Outdoor Speakers

Just got this today and hooked it up already. See the pics. Larger than I expected and good thing I didn't go for the 60, they would have been quite large. I think these are the perfect size for what I needed. Based on the small amount of time listening to it, these speakers sound great. Bass was surprisingly decent. I used 14 ga wires that runs about 60ft from my Marantz SR5007 receiver using zone 2. Reason I was considering the 60s was because I was afraid it might not be loud enough. On the Marantz I had set the volume to -20 (18 is max) and it sounded very good for my deck and backyard. I think my neighbor can hear some of it. I did try -10 for a few seconds and that was pretty loud. I don't plan on trying 0 anytime soon LOL.Aside from it being larger that I expected I was also confused at first because I thought the banana plugs wouldn't work but you do have to take out the plastic covers in the back.Also I wanted to give a shout out to the seller, Safe and Sound HQ. I ordered these on Saturday and they came on Tuesday. Excellent service! Hopefully I can come back and review these 5 years from now.Edit: i also has to enlarge the holes in the bracket because i used 12-2 inch stainless screws. Worked really well.Edit2: These actually look really nice, much better than the ones in the amazon pic

Received my pair of Boston Acoustic Voyager 50. Put up in the soffit on the gable end. Happy with the size and sound output. Haven't cranked them up too loud as don't want to annoy the neighbors. Nice easy to install brackets with good adjustment.

Best quality outdoor speakers around. Worth the extra $$. Bought a second set for total of 4 outside now.

Got these on sale for 189.99, well worth it. Require a bit more power to achieve volume of cheaper speakers but much better bass and mid-range. No problems from seller and fast shipping.

Good looking speakers. Not super loud, but good fidelity. No neighbor complaints.

$199 for the pair from acessories4less. They were 'factory refurbish' but I can see no external problems. Sound great.

Angeschlossen an einem Yamaha RX-V673 Zone 2,hängen die Boxen im Freien unter dem Dachvorsprung auf der Terrasse.Die Lautsprecher sind sehr gut verarbeitet und sehen toll aus.Beim Montieren der Wandhalterungen lief alles Problemlos.Nun zum Klang:Schon bei nur 20% Lautstärke kommt der Glanz der Boxen zum vorschein.Klare Höhen und satter, druckvoller Bass. (Nicht so das es vibrieren würde)Im Ganzen einfach geiler Sound.Bei 50% Lautstärke kann man zwar noch Sprechen aber man muss schon ziemlich Laut sein.Bei 90% Lautstärke hat man Clubstimmung mit vollem Klangerlebnis das keine Wünsche offen lässt.Die Außenlautsprecher von Bose zum Vergleich klingen nicht besser bzw. haben weniger Bass.Von mir volle Kaufempfehlung!Und vor allem Preis ist bei dem Paar richtig gut.Grüße Philipp
