Great product works better than expected
This product is great for the price, the cleaning is also great , battery last for 50 min aprrox on high power setting and also it automatically goes back to charging station on low power,It cleans the room in haphazard way but it does clean almost all the room completely if given enough timeThere is no smart home function for this specific model, only way is to use remote that is supplied

Perfect solution for a clean home !
The media could not be loaded. I have the best vacuum cleaner and had a decent domestic help but none of them kept me satisfied as this robovac! My house floors are always clean despite my pets (cat) sheds a lot of hair. Eufy gave me a reality check as it picked up so much dirt and hair that was Invisible on the clean floor. I turn it on for close to an hour and it does a great job without any supervision. This is quiet and has great suction power . Even managed to swallow all my hair ties that were lost /found under the couch. For under 15k This is the best one can get I suppose. One observation/advice if you have a playful cat - I have to use the max mode when my cat is around because he tries to attack /pull those bristles when in normal mode . This makes little more sound so that cat leaves it alone.

Worth the buy
Value for money. Go for it if its your first time buying a robotic vacuum. The remote stopped working after a couple of months but we rarely need to use the remote.

Best robot vacuum under 15k
This is a must have for people with pets - even if you have an army of maids and servants in an indian home. Your cleaning maid can just now pick up the amount of dust, pet hair, dirt and all kinds of other rubbish - specially under the beds, sofas and other furniture. I have tried the Deebot 500. In short, it was pathetic compared to this. The deebot made a lot of whining/grinding noise while moving, the app kept loosing connection to the bot and was an absolutely pathetic experience overall. This eufy doesn't have an app and cannot be controlled by alexa/google home. But dont be disappointed by that. What it has is even better - it has an old school physical remote. Now that remote does not allow you to set multiple cleaning schedules like deebot's app BUT it allows something even more convenient and nifty - it allows you to MANUALLY control the robot (full directional motion, including reverse and including forward acceleration!). This is an absolutely brilliant feature which nobody talks about and even their product marketing does not mention. This allows me to easily spot clean a carpet or other dirty surface manually for a minute and then send the robot back home!Let's talk about return to home function for a bit - this robot's return to home is LIGHT YEARS ahead of Deebot. I was shocked to find how easily and smartly it detects the charger/base station. It's algorithms are simply far superior to Deebot. It will first follow the walls from room to room till it reaches about 10 feet from the charger, and then it simply starts moving straight to the charger. We even have some furniture between the robot and charger's line of sight - it simply moves AROUND them when it is within 10 feet. It seems to be using some form of laser based radar to detect the charger. Pretty neat for this price point! This robot is the first of many robot vacuums in my 2400 square feet house that has a success rate of 95% of cleaning on schedule and then returning to its base station everyday! And that is the one thing that matters MOST in a robot vacuumThe 2 strips that they included for free are also a unique feature - i've installed them in the balcony doors and the entrance door and it never crosses them. They've even included a spare HEPA filter! All in all a very good package for the price!

Great Robo vaccum, save a lot of time
Excellent robo vaccum at a very good price point. Can easily navigate itself in any kind of clutter. Can go under sofas etc since its thickness is only a few inches. Mist importantly, the ability to navigate it with a remote is an absolutely incredible & useful feature. You can direct it precisely where you want which is very useful if you need to clean a specific area to of your room.

Decent budget robotic vacuum, but the navigation could have been more efficient
1. Ordered the RoboVac 30, but was sent the Robovac R500. After a few back and forth emails with the support team in the US, I learnt that the 30 is the 'online' version and R500 is the 'offline' version, whatever that means. I have seen other reviews indicating that the seller simply sends the latest one available, which is why I did not pursue the matter. Besides, the specifications were exactly the same as those of the Robovac 30, and I had used the vacuum once before discovering that what I received is not the one I ordered--it was therefore inappropriate and unethical to return it.2. The slim profile makes cleaning under furniture very easy.3. Extremely silent, and does a very good job of cleaning the floor. The remote is extremely handy.4. Being a budget vacuum, I did not expect this product to have any advanced navigation capabilities. The spot and edge cleaning modes are useful. However, a simple back and forth cleaning mode would have made this a more efficient product. The random/auto nagivation is simply too primitive. We have learnt to combine the 'auto' and 'spot' cleaning modes with the remote to complete the task of cleaning quickly. There's at least one budget robotic vacuum out there that supports multiple automatic cleaning modes (zig-zag/back and forth, spiral and polygon, besides spot and edge). Perhaps Eufy can take a leaf out of their book.5. It seems to be able to detect light colored obstacles easily, and is able to navigate around them without collision; but it is blind to dark colored objects, and routinely bumps against them. However, the impact is not worrisome.6. The boundary strips are a terrible idea. A virtual wall (available from other budget vacuum makers) is a much better option.------Update after nearly 4 months of regular usage:We found that simply running the device in 'auto' mode is sufficient for most purposes. We let it run for 10-15 minutes in each room, and it does an excellent job.Note:Besides emptying the dust bin every two or three days, one has to remember to clean the filters at least twice a month.Wish list:- I still wish the product had a zig-zag cleaning mode like the iLife V series, but I don't miss it as much as I did when I first wrote this review.- I wish there was a way to time the auto mode. The only option available is the single room mode in which the device runs for 30 minutes. Given that it takes only 15 minutes or so to clean a small to medium sized room, a shorter duration program would have come in very handy.

The Eufy Robovac 30 is a wonderful little vacuum!
The Eufy Robovac 30 is a wonderful little vacuum! It has far surpassed my expectations. After replacing carpet with dark hardwood floors in most of our 2400 sq. ft. home, I was finding it difficult to keep the dust bunnies at bay. I didn’t know anything about robot vacuums so I went online to do some research. I considered a lot of different brands but what caught my eye about the Robovac 30 was a combination of the positive customer service comments, price, and boundary strips. We have a combination of hardwood, low-medium shag carpet, vinyl, and tile. I was pleased to see that the Eufy Robovac 30 was reported to be effective on all of these surfaces and I have not been disappointed in the Robovac 30’s performance in my home.I was so happy about the effectiveness of my Robovac 30 and the amount of time it saved me that I encouraged my daughter to try it in her home for a few days to see if she would like me to get her one for Christmas. My daughter and son-in-law live in a 2-story home and have 2 indoor cats. After using my Robovac 30 she was sold so I ordered them one for Christmas. The Robovac 30 works wonderfully in her home keeping it free of cat fur. They have a combination of light wood, tile, and carpet. It cleans everything except the stairs. Her Robovac 30 did fall down the stairs once but she said she now leaves on a light and it has never fallen again. She also only cleans when she is at home and does not schedule cleanings. She has had her Robovac 30 since Christmas 2018 and it is still performing well. After about 10.5 months, my Eufy Robovac 30 began turning itself on and cleaning at random, making a really loud grinding sound when cleaning rugs and maneuvering over transition pieces, and it seemed to get confused and clean in circles or keep going over the same area again and again. I cleaned my Robovac 30 thoroughly, replaced the side brushes and cleaning brush, and cleaned the sensors but it continued to be much less effective and noisy. After trying different things for about 3 weeks, I called Eufy customer service, and talked to a representative who was extremely polite and helpful. She asked me a few questions and had me try a couple of things. She then stated that it should not be acting that way and I was sent a replacement in a few days. She did ask me to write a review discussing my experience.I have waited several weeks before reviewing my replacement Robovac 30 since I wanted to see how the new machine works. Something I noticed with both Robovac 30s, they seem to clean better and transitions more easily through the house after 2-3 weeks of use. They both seemed to stay in one area and not move easily from once type of flooring to another at the beginning. After several weeks, I am very pleased with my replacement Robovac 30.Features and Comments:-Running time – On hardwood floors with different size area rugs, my Robovac 30 will clean for between 90 – 105 minutes when fully charged. Running time is less on carpeted areas. For reference, I section off my house into small areas since I like to clean each area thoroughly. It takes 2 full charges to clean my entire house.-Thoroughness of cleaning – I can’t believe how thoroughly this vacuum cleans. It is truly amazing. I used to vacuum my floors with a canister vacuum and then Swiffer with dry cloths before mopping. Now I just run the Robovac 30 while doing something else and then mop. Amazing! I also love that it will clean under most of my furniture, especially under the beds.-Finding its way back to the docking station – I only use my vacuum when I am at home due to the fact that I still have some area rugs with fringe and long drapes that puddle on the floor in some areas. Also, my elderly mother lives with us and I am afraid that she might trip over the vacuum if I am not there to supervise. Therefore, I use the boundary strips to block off certain areas so that I know where the vacuum is at all times. If the Robovac 30 is able to get to the docking station when its battery starts running low, it does an amazing job of docking; however, I typically just pick it up and return it once I hear it slowing down.-Remote and scheduling cleanings– I don’t often use the remote and never schedule it to clean for the reasons mentioned above. The few times I have used the remote, I have been mostly pleased. It works wonderfully for spot and edge cleaning. I will occasionally use the manual cleaning to direct the Robovac 30 to a certain area but for me it is faster to pick it up and move it rather than using the remote. I have never scheduled a cleaning so I can’t comment on that feature.-Boundary strips – I love the boundary strips since we have a very open floor plan and they easily allow me to block off certain areas and confine the Robovac 30. Due to convenience, my floor plan, different floor textures, some rooms getting more use than others, and my mother’s safety, I section off my house into segments of about 300 sq. ft. to clean at a time. This way I can target the rooms that get used the most and are therefore need extra cleaning, keep the Robovac 30 out of rooms that have clutter or things that need to be removed, and know where it is at all times. I also feel that the rooms are more thoroughly cleaned. If not confined, the Robovac 30 will randomly move throughout the house and some areas may not get cleaned before the battery dies. I have cut and taped sections of the boundary strips to yard sticks and use these to block off areas. The Robovac 30 won’t run over the magnetic strips but it can push the yard stick across the floor, so it is necessary to either place the yard stick in a doorway so that the door frame prevents the yard stick from being pushed through the door or place something heavy either on or behind the yard stick so it can’t be moved. It is then easy to store the yard sticks standing up in a closet and have them ready to lay down each time they are needed.-Babysitting – Since I remove items that the Robovac 30 can get tangled in, I rarely have to rescue it.-Cleaning the Robovac 30/maintenance – Cleaning is easy but it is necessary to do so on the recommended schedule. After cleaning each area that I have sectioned off in my house, I empty the dust bin. This may not be necessary but cleaning effectiveness will be decreased if the bin is allowed to get too full and it is amazing how fast it can fill up. I don’t consider this a flaw in the Robovac 30, but a fact applying to all robot vacuums. I did originally have difficulty removing the roller ball to clean it. To easily remove the roller ball, use a small pair of needle-nosed pliers. Gently squeeze the pliers on the sides of the roller and pull straight up. This does not take a lot of force and works well.-Customer service – Excellent! I was shocked that I received such courteous customer service and a new vacuum when my original Robovac 30’s warranty was due to expire in less than a month. The replacement vacuum came with a 90 day warranty instead of a full year, but that is understandable.-Replacement parts – All replacement parts (side brushes, filters, etc.) are easily purchased from Amazon.Overall, I am very pleased with my Eufy Robovac 30 and would purchase again!

Initial reaction - Exceeds all my expectations
I purchased this Eufy about 5 months ago. It has exceeded all my expectations. It is my 1st RoboVac, so I have nothing to compare to, but given that I am absolutely impressed with this unit, I am glad I did not spend more on some of the higher end RoboVacs because this one seems very good to me. I live in a 1-bedroom apt with a dining room (hardwood and tile floors) and this vac has just enough battery power to vacuum the entire place in one shot. I am stunned every time I use it at how much dirt it finds every time, even when the hardwood looks clean. It has improved air quality in my home. I have an area rug in the dining room and in the past 5 months, the Eufy only got stuck on the carpet edge 3 times. It will not handle fringes - like any power vac. My bed-skirts are 1.25 inches above the floor and the Eufy slips under them and cleans under the beds and couches! Extremely easy to empty and very easy to clean the filters. After 5 months of weekly use, my brushes are still in perfect shape and my bet is I get at least a year out of the brushes. I have a cat and my Eufy finds large amounts of cat hair. Having the Eufy go under the beds and couches, etc is such a major improvement over a canister or push vac I still smile every time I use it. I have used my other vacs only once in the past five months to pick up a major rice crispie spill. Otherwise the Eufy has handled all my vacuuming needs. It works fine in auto-mode but requires human action to switch from area cleaning to edge cleaning. Both are needed to get a room spotless clean, so though it handles timed programming to clean while you are gone, I think it really works best if someone is there to supervise. But it is independent enough to allow me to do other things while it vacuums. And that can even be watching TV because the sound level on the Eufy is much quieter than I expected. I find this to be a fantastic product in every respect so far. No more sweeping either! My floors and air are cleaner than ever and I am using only a fraction of the time I used to spend to get these better results. Woohoo!

It works
Great buy. It does its job well, going around our busy apartment floor (we have 2 children, so toys are everywhere) and collection all the dust. Although it does it in a rather random fashion. Some minor issues with docking, at times it will go back and forth at the dock or simply freeze few inches back. Also, it bumps into anything that’s black.

BRILLIANT! Powerful, smart design and function!
Ok, this thing is AMAZING. Seriously. My hubby and I have a 750 sq/ft condo, all laminate hardwood (except for a tiled bathroom), and we pride ourselves on a clean home. We vacuum daily with our Dyson, and thoroughly clean our home weekly.I’m having back surgery soon, so I thought it would be a good idea to get this little Eufy to help keep our home in top shape. It arrived yesterday, and it was easy peasy to set up, and charged itself rather efficiently. My hubby had already vacuumed our condo in the morning, so I wasn’t expecting the Eufy to pick up much in its first run around the house. (Like I said, we pride ourselves on our clean home.) Anyways...low and behold, when I opened up the Eufy’s dirt receptacle, my mind was officially blown. It was already half full of dirt/dust/etc that the little Eufy had picked up on what we had thought was an already ‘clean’ floor! What?!?! This is amazing!!! So amazing, in fact, that I took a picture to show you all.Other awesome things are that it’s super quiet, bumps into things gently (rather than ramming into them), and the magnetic boundary strips work like a charm. We put them around our puppy’s pee pad - I’ve heard horror stories of poop being dragged around by robot vacuums, lol, so the magnetic boundary strips are brilliant!Totally recommend this. We are so, SO impressed!
