Stella Artois 2018 Limited Edition India Chalice, 33cl

I love these buy a lady a drink chalice. I love Stella to begin with so I trust this company when they say that some profits go to water.org. So long as you buy from Amazon, some profits go to charity, so watch where you buy your glass from. I have the 2015 India themed one that I bought when it was a lower price. The more expensive price I think is still worth what you get in return. This came packaged nicely and carefully as to not break. The box itself it came in was actually pretty neat too with an interesting design and information on water.org and the buy a lady a drink campaign as well as information on the area your chalice represents. The etching and design on this glass is beautiful, the details on this are so nicely made and done you would think you would have to pay more for these glasses. I use this as a show piece on a shelf and have not actually put any type of drink in this. I would absolutely recommend hand washing this if you do use it other than display. I am extremely satisfied with my purchase and with where my money has gone. I hope to make a collection of these and buy a few more as time goes on. I bought this glass mostly because it was for a great cause, and at an affordable price. It arrived quite a bit sooner than expected (it was supposed to take 2 weeks, and arrived in 7 days!). The glass was well protected, it was in the main packaging featured, then surrounded by a close fitting box that prevented movement, and then put in the shipping box. On top of all of that, the actual glass is beautiful, definitely a great buy!

My glass is absolutely beautiful! What a wonderful way to help women. I will be purchasing another soon. I appreciate Amazon's participation. How about making it even better--free shipping? How about donating even more to the project, I think Amazon can afford it? I am a long-time, frequent, and loyal customer of Amazon (even in those dark days when you where not doing so well). This is a great quality glass and a very pretty design--we bought "India." You also can't beat that 50% of your purchase provides clean drinking water to a woman for 5 years. That's the primary reason we bought this, after seeing an ad for the cause during the Oscars, and the chalice was a nice bonus. I hand wash this glass, as it is has a gold rim which seems delicate. It is sturdy and the design offers a nice texture.

Great ideaHorrible implementation...running a commercial during the Oscars, but zero stock, except from third party sellers that have purchased the item, then are reselling them for profit. Which of course does nothing to help get water to anyone.UPDATE: Third party sellers on this item seem to have been removed, which is excellent. Upping to 3 stars for the correction, but dinging one star for not thinking of this sooner, and one for not actually having the product in hand! A future additional star is likely once the product arrives, as the standard Chalices are very, very nice!Update 2: The product arrived, and all three designs are well made and designs are well implemented on the glass. Upping to 4 stars. One star off only for historical problems that hopefully wont be repeated with proper controls and from others reading this, and watching for third party sellers that only want to make a profit off a good promotion/charity.

Very nice glasses. My only issue is that they are not dishwasher safe, but I wash my other ones by hand anyways, so I am just being nit-picky. By "other ones" I mean the 40 Centiliter Star Chalice that is also available on Amazon. These ones here are more decorative, they look very nice. I suggest chilling them first, but you knew that already. They are a nice caprice at the end of a long day. Spoil yourself a little.

Matt Damon told me to buy this and I did.It appears to be the standard Stella Artois gold rimmed chalice except that it has an intricate design. I chose the "india" edition and was pleasantly surprised by the appearance of this unique piece of glassware. I probably won't use it to drink very much as I would be afraid to break it. I was also appreciative that part of the proceeds provided clean water for 5 years.

I understand it's for a good cause and the designs are beautifuls representaions of the cultures they support. But the glass I received was deformed with a bubble like space near the stem that would trap and hold liquid. it is very hard to clean this glass and it's nearly impossible to get into that space to clean.
