Easy to install and looks great.

I got these because my key fab was broken. These were perfect, these slip right over my original key fab. They look as if the how it came from the factory.

The cover looks metallic, but is actually a silicone/rubber material. It doesn’t add a lot of bulk to the fob, so it still fits in the front pocket of my jeans without feeling overly noticeable. I’ve also dropped the fob a couple of times and had no issues. The silicone seems to help cushion the fob from drops, adds a bit of grip when holding the fob, and the colors in the cover don’t scratch off. I definitely recommend it. The only reason to knock a star off the review is that it’s not exactly mil-spec for protection, but it’s good enough for average use.Updating my original 2019 post - it’s now nearly 2024 and I’m still using it. The color hasn’t faded and it looks the same as the day I got it.

The fob cover looks nice, was easy to install, and should do a good job of protecting the BMW fob. Only nit-pick is the lock button is now recessed and the thickness of the cover make the lock button a little harder to press with longer finger nails.

Good product. It’s a little hard to install but not too bad. I’ve used this cover for about 6 months now and some of the red is starting to fade a little but for the price I paid I can’t complain. The buttons are a little more difficult to press and the gap where you could put a key ring is reduced but you can work around off of this.

It’s a little hard to tell what you’re buying but you just slip your fob in from the back and a black piece snaps in to seal it up. I like mine a lot, the buttons still work fine and it’s a nice shiny bendable plastic
