Q: How can I return item, volume dial turns really hard and difficult to use.

Contact Amazon through website and indicate desire to return item. We did not even need to send this one back and they refunded it.

Q: How's the reception of this radio? Are you able to tune in radio stations with weaker signals?

Honestly, you will probably only get the really strong signals. I live in a small town and have trouble tuning in to our larger station. If I bump it just slightly I have to tune the stupid thing. It actually worked great when I got it. But now it seems like if I move wrong it goes out. It could be our stations too. They aren't the greatest.

Q: how do you change the clock?

You press the mode button to select the hour or the minute and you press the set button to increase the number. It is quite simple.

Q: Mine died after a month ,did anyone else have this problem?

I only had mine a short time (maybe 4-6 months) and it died. The description says splash proof, but also water proof... which is it?
