Absolutely Amazing Product!!! Love it....
AMAZING!!! I purchased this unit prior to having rotator cuff repair surgery. I am so thankful I did, absolutely perfect for post surgery rehab. It is so convient for controlling pain and swelling. No more filling ice bags or re freezing ice packs! Simply fill with ice and water then sit back and controll your own comfort. I filled mine at 11:30pm and used it 2-3 times all night and the relief was instant!!! Tracking showed to arrive on Tues but showed up three days early. If you are un sure about use of this relief system I can't recommend it strongly enough get it!!! Picture shows blue but mine was a newer black model. Also you will want to order the optional larger chill pad for larger surface areas. Good luck!!

HORRIBLE. DOES NOT WORK, DOES NOT COOL but a few degrees
Doesn't work at all, the main unit, much less the attachments. It simply doesn't get more than a few degrees cooler than room temperature, even after an hour. And the attachments don't 'stick' or 'attach' to your body in any meaningful way, they're impossible to keep flush on your skin, so you get absolutely no cooling effect. After 1 hour of continuous use, it felt WARM so I stuck my hand in the tank and it was indeed very WARM, NOT COOL. I checked the setting, and yup, it was correct, the device just doesn't work. The motor also make a fairly loud hum which will make your headache worse. I suspect strongly the other reviewers work for the company that sells this product!

Better than gameready!
I recently had acl reconstruction surgery and this thing is a LIFE SAVER. I have had zero leaks and absolutely no problems with this machine. The universal pad fits great on the knee and the bandage gives great compression. I have used machines like the gameready and this is the same if not better than the gameready! Also the machine is very very quiet and requires very little ice. Would recommend this product to anyone dealing with pain or is recovering my surgery!

Manufacturer Needs to Provide a Real Manual
I bought this unit with a universal size pad. It looks like a well-designed product and seems to work well. But the first thing that surprised me was the lack of a product manual! It should have at the least come with illustrated or photo enhanced instructions! It's easy to figure out how to use, but I'm more concerned with care of the unit for long life. After each use the unit must be emptied of water. But what about the pad and tubes? Right now it appears they get stored away with water remaining in them. Is that a good thing? I think not. Is there a way to disassemble the tubing or some relief valve on the connectors so that the water empties out? Without a manual, I am not going to fool around with them and void the warranty.

COULDN'T SURVIVE WITHOUT IT.
I needed to place a cold ice on my knee as long a period as possible because II had total knee replacement and need to keep swelling down. Well Ice from the freezer placed in a freezer bag did not cut the muster because the ice could not be distributed over the entire area and I had to hold the ice on because it would slip off because the ice would melt and turn to water then warm up from my hot knee. So to was a constant trek between the freezer and the sink to pour the water out of the bag and replenish the ice in the bag. There was wasted time doing other things when I should be cooling my knee.So this Aqua Relief System had eliminated all of the wasted time above. You put as much ice inside the unit and fill it with water to the maximum fill line, attach your pad to the hose, wrap around knee, turn the unit on and set to the cooling time, then relax , it will auto shut off according to the set time. No more running to the freezer during treatment for ice.. After one hour the unit still had cold ice in it.The only problem I had was the small cooling/heating pad that came with it , so I ordered a larger one. This unit is very light to carry around , It has holes for attaching a shoulder strap. It is also very quiet to operate. In fact the low hum of the motor caused me to fall asleep.I recommend to anyone needing cold therapy or heating therapy that needs continuous treatment for at least an hour without interruptions.

I find the ARS System to be extremely comfortable to use over a prolonged period of time
The ARS system is exactly what I had in mind when I ordered it. I had received treatment from a similar device in a long hospital stay. As you know, you can't go to sleep on an electric hotpad, it is too dangerous in several ways, one of which is the electric heating pad shorting out and catching on fire while you are asleep. Yes, it DOES happen!! The other concern is the electric pad being too hot for prolonged contact with your skin, even if you are not diabetic. I find the ARS System to be extremely comfortable to use over a prolonged period of time, and extremely safe to use. The company I purchased mine from on Amazon gave me "Zappo.com" level of service also. I had a problem with my unit and they immediately sent me a new one, along with the return postage to send back the bad unit. If you are in need of a heating pad technology, I give this one a raging boner of a Thumbs Up!!!!!!

Doesn't get cold
Loved it for the first month or so. I have a broken back. The most heat and was a wonderful ideal. Years ago I had shoulder surgery and I had the old kind that only did cold. Bought it in December worked great. I forgot it in Ohio (I live in Maryland) my mom put it up for me. When I went back to Ohio in June I grabbed it and brought it home. It is wonderful when using the heat but it will not get cold for the life of me. I saved money to get it and now I can't ice anything.

My wife just had a knee replacement so this was ...
My wife just had a knee replacement so this was used almost continuously for 3 weeks with no issues. The pad is the same as was used in the hospital, same connections same shape. Two minor issues, no handles, handles would make it easier when dumping water or just moving it. The pump takes up a fair amount of room inside, limiting the amount of ice you can put in it. All in all, I'd buy another without hesitating. A couple of recommendations; use cold water, as out of the refrigerator water ( I always kept a gallon jug of water in the refrigerator) and use the cooler ice packs or small water bottles and freeze them instead of just ice cubes they last longer.
